The Oddbox is out. Definitely getting that one.

Well -- it says it's out, but apparently they're still working on it... Stranger's Wrath's page is not actually live, and I can't seem to get it in my cart yet.

//Edit: Oddbox Get! Problems were fixed.

Apparently there'll be daily deals again, so I'm not getting too much today... will see what all goes up. If I didn't already own all the games, I'd go for the Paradox box though... excellent stuff in there. Even the new Vicky2!

I'm pretty pumped for it. Gonna be filling up my cart pretty soon. It's freaking out on me and not letting me look through the sales right now, but hopefully it will fix itself. I know I'm getting Civ5 and Mafia II.

EDIT: Yup, it's here now and is seriously bugging out. The prices keep changing on me. Like the Valve complete pack raised by $25 within like an hour. And it's having trouble connecting to the server.

The whole store is laggy for me, probably just because they're trying to update things and everyone is flooding to the store because they hear the sale is on lol.

Can't wait - I get paid a fair amount of money on Christmas Eve so I'm going to fill the cart to breaking point.

A Question for regular steam users:

I'm getting a new PC in April next year. so can I buy some games in the christmas sale, but then install them on a different PC afterwards?
Of course, as long as you have a Steam account you can install them on as many computers you want to :)

Yes. I grabbed Portal back when it was free, even though I was using a netbook that barely ran it.

Yes you can. You can even install the same game across two systems (provided you are only signed in to one)

EDIT: double ninja'd ???

Yep. Just make sure you remember your steam account name and login.
So long as you are logged in, you can download your games on any computer and play them. There is no limit to how many times you can re-download a game either. Once it's yours it's yours.

So say you were at a friends house and wanted to show him a game, you could login to your steam, download it, then play it. He wouldn't be able to play it though after you left because he wouldn't be logged in.

edit: TRIPLE NINJA'D. A new personal record.

Bah, sale hasn't gone live here yet.

Edit: Four minutes and the sale went up. Incredible.

The complete Paradox pack is going there for 75 dollars?

Is that some form of charity or something? There are, like, 20 awesome, retail games in there, each worth a grand price.

Steam are losing their minds, apparently.

and if the game is on both PC and mac, can get the game on my PC and and macbook for one price?

the other three of you are also welcome to answer this one :)
As long as it's "Steamplay" Yeah, I'm pretty certain.
