And there is sod all that appeals to me even slightly today.
Maybe tomorrow?
Just remember there are games on sale not in the catalog. There are over 1,000 games on sale :)
The only one that made me raise an eyebrow was Just Cause 2, I've gone through every dev catalogue, every pack and every individual game sale listed and none interest me.
Don't suppose you'd be willing to make any recommendations would you? I do need something good at a reasonable price to kill the time.
Jade Empire? It's got to go on sale one of these days; grab it when it does and you'll be happy.

Didn't they have a huge pre-Christmas sale a couple of weeks ago?

Got it, finished it, one of my favourite games to date.

BF:BC 2 IS 6$?!

*buys*
i love you steam. if only i had a gift to give to you. :(
WHAT?!
Steam's showing me that the game costs 13.59 Euros. Something doesn't add up...
I seriously hope the original prices didn't differ by country...
Gah, i really wanted it for 6 bucks!!!

Steam wants me bankrupt.

I have a very poor graphics card - A Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family. Because of this, I can only play old games on here, or those powered by Source. so far, brought Children of the Nile and Civ IV. The latter probably won't run on my PC, but at under £4 I wasn't going to pass it up.

May pick up Rome: Total War at some point, even if it's not on sale.

And damn, how I wish they had the Theme Park/Hospital/etc. games on Steam...

On the first day of Steam sales I purchased for me, The Deus Ex Collection for dollars 3.

(Will add to as my wallet gets lighter.)

A Question for regular steam users:

I'm getting a new PC in April next year. so can I buy some games in the christmas sale, but then install them on a different PC afterwards?
I believe so, as long as you use the same account

Of course, as long as you have a Steam account you can install them on as many computers you want to :)
and if the game is on both PC and mac, can get the game on my PC and and macbook for one price?

the other three of you are also welcome to answer this one :)
As long as it's "Steamplay" Yeah, I'm pretty certain.
Surely, a goat?

Me neither! Deus Ex? I've never played that game! But for £1.49, I don't care! Super Meat Boy? £3.00? Shit yeah! The Oddbox for £9.99? Hell yeah!

There's always Ghost Master! Sure it's old and it will run with vertical boxes on widescreen monitors, but for a dollar it's not too bad. In fact, it's pretty good (IMO).

Just be warned, it's really, really cheesy.

ALSO the King's Bounty games were great if you like Heroes of Might and Magic.

Excellent, I've always wanted Super Meat Boy but wasn't sure if it was worth the original £15 or whatever it was. Bought now :)
