I found the pc port so horrible I never even bothered playing it... you might find it better though.Eclectic Dreck said:I'm really tempted to pick up the Unreal Pack. The only question in my mind is just how many people still play UT3?
The port? The PC was the primary platform, the console iteration was the port.Flying Dagger said:I found the pc port so horrible I never even bothered playing it... you might find it better though.Eclectic Dreck said:I'm really tempted to pick up the Unreal Pack. In addition to that, you wouldn't have to download and install it again if they already had. I went to a friend's place recently and logged into my own steam account on someone's computer so we could play L4D2. You can even see the games they already have installed and purchase them to your account immediately should you wish to.AC10 said:Yep. Just make sure you remember your steam account name and login.ShadowPuppet said:A Question for regular steam users:
I'm getting a new PC in April next year. so can I buy some games in the christmas sale, but then install them on a different PC afterwards?
So long as you are logged in, you can download your games on any computer and play them. There is no limit to how many times you can re-download a game either. Once it's yours it's yours.
So say you were at a friends house and wanted to show him a game, you could login to your steam, download it, then play it. He wouldn't be able to play it though after you left because he wouldn't be logged in.
edit: TRIPLE NINJA'D. A new personal record.
Holy shit you're right! I remember last year scrolling down the specials tab daily to see if there was anything I wanted. It's gonna be harder this year to get what I wantAC10 said:Just remember there are games on sale not in the catalog. It's good fun. Good engine, great car sounds and a good map to drive around in. Downsides are taking the wrong turn in races and the startup sequence if you are not a fan of Guns and Roses.Hader said:Has anyone played Burnout Paradise? IS that any good? I mean...I already bought itbut while I am downloading, any opinions?
It definitely doesn't feel designed for a pc, I assumed it was a port rather then a really shoddily made game.Eclectic Dreck said:The port? That aside, I have always loved Unreal Tournament but the game launched three years ago and at this point and I worry that the FPS playing population is far too busy playing Halo, CoD, Battlefield, TF2 and a half dozen other games.
I think it has been "temporarily disabled" because their servers were getting slammed too hard. I hope it comes back, it was really convenient.Simskiller said:Holy shit you're right!
