I think I'm having a heart attack...

... maybe buying Fallout: New Vegas will calm my nerves.

Edit: Oh, it's only 25% off, never mind.

I have been meaning to get Battlefield Bad Company 2, although I have no excuse for not having the Oddworld games.

Why? Why does it start the week before christmas? It means my hands are tied when it comes to buying things as I could be getting it anyway.
I mean, some things are safe. I might re-buy PoP (2008) to have a digital copy as well seeing as it's only £3.75. But I can just tell that between now and christmas day there will be a load of times when all I can do is whimper and paw the screen.

Any specific things anyone feels like recommending?

You know... I don't have any games yet... so...

STEEEEEEEEEEEEAAMM!!! *Shakes fist at the sky*

I've been trying to cut back on my game spending, dammit! We just go done with one of your sales, you could have given me a little bit to recover.

I mean, Bad Company 2 for $6.79? I own that for my 360, but I just can't pass it up...

At least I've always wanted Fallout 3....

EDIT: Oh, fantastic, Mass Effect 2 is 5 bucks off. Great. I just started the first one, Valve (long story)! It was supposed to tide me over for a while! FFFFFFFFFFFF-

A Question for regular steam users:

I'm getting a new PC in April next year. so can I buy some games in the christmas sale, but then install them on a different PC afterwards?
Absolutely, you buy them they're yours forever (technically), you can install them on wichever pc you want, as long as you're logged in using your Steam account.

OT: Looks great!, definitively I'm getting the Oddbox and the X-Com games =D

wow....so many games I bought at full price that I literally told myself "Wait until the holiday sales! it'll be so much cheaper then!" But I'm an impatient fool, and I bought Mount and Blade warband only a couple weeks ago, and now I could have gotten it for half of what I paid. Fantastic. I shall not make this mistake again, dammit.

Oh, and wow, almost my entire wishlist is 50% off. I'm going to miss food and gas money....

i love you steam. if only i had a gift to give to you. :(
You gave them money, didn't you?
But is that truly enough of a gift to steam?
'

No, you're right... Hmm... Surely we should sacrifice something.
a chicken, or perhaps something slightly more... human?
*laugh maniacally*
Perhaps even STEAMED human? *laughs manically while doing the Mr. Burns*

TOP TIPS:

If you have more time than money, go thru Steam and add everything you want, even slightly interested in, to your wishlist.

BUT, unless it's on daily deal, or you need it now, don't buy...

Then check each day to see if it's on the daily extra discounts, you'll save a fair bit extra doing it this way, then on the final day of the sale, buy everything you want that didn't get extra discounts.
Good tip, thanks. But when exactly is the final day? And is there a chance that L4D1 or 2 will pop up ? I mean, should i wait for it? They're already both down by 50%...

Fuck. If I had a computer worth gaming on I'd get them all. Eh, I'll do the usual: buy the games I like and promise myself I'll build a computer and play them
