I really hope Just Cause 2 wins because it is fucking great, but Dead Space 2 and especially GTA4 are pretty tough 'opponents'

Is it really that good? Never played it, played the first one though on the PS2 and I was rather disappoint. I did vote for it though as I wanted to try it out. I also want to re-try Dead Space and Dead Space 2 for PC. Played Dead Space 1 back on the Xbox and it wasn't all that scary. Dead Space 2, while a much better game, wasn't scary at all either. It did look like a fun shoot-em-up Sci-Fi game.

My absolute top 6 of games consists of five 'pretentious prick' games (Nine Hours Nine Persons Nine Doors, Portal, Frozen Synapse, you get the idea) and Just Cause 2. The way the physics are set up make just messing around SO MUCH FUN. It took hours before the speed at which I thought up new ways to fuck around began to match the speed at which I could actually do them. Plus, the single-player is pretty enjoyable, the environment is massive, varried, beautiful and loadscreen-less, and the game just never gets old. Reddit's gaming 'subforum' was completely swarmed by JC2 posts last month for a good couple of weeks. I think I poured in a total of 75 hours over the course of three runs, and I still boot it up occasionally and have tons of fun. Highly recommended.

Bastion is on sale atm so I bought it, but Metro hasn't been lower than 33%. It was a choice of BioShock 2, Fear 3 and Metro. Bioshock 2 won, so no discount. Morrowind hasn't left 40% since the start of the sale.

Well, Bastion will go on sale in 10 minutes, Morrowind GotY is 40% (Being a part of Bethsoft's catalogue) and I swear I already saw Metro 2033 at 75% (or 60% or 66%) at some point (maybe in a flash sale?)...

Nice try but this just gets my hopes up . Stupid people not voting for Metro...

Dude, this Steam shit is awesome. This is my first time with one of their summer blow out things. The prices are ridiculous. Hell, I'm buying shit I don't even really want but might want to play later because it's like 1.50.

I've spent I think around $300 so far this summer sale. Would have been less but I keep buying 4 packs and giving crap away. Support the devs and all that.
