Steam Sale 2012 - What games emptied your wallet?

Guess what people waiting for ARMA II to be at 33% off? It just went on sale for 20 bucks on Amazon downloads.

Just ARMA II left on my list of games I'll buy if they get cheap.

And they WILL put it on sale, probably the last day for 75% off. It would be stupid of them to miss the opportunity to close big with that.

No, it will be 33%. And im being optimistic. They are in the top sales with a 20% discount. Believe me, they will never do a 75%.

That's what I expect that their devilish trick is. Even with 'only' 20% off, this three year old game was one of the most sold games, even against the more insane daily deals. I think almost everyone who wants it already got it, leaving only the mildly and completely uninterested. If Valve drops it from 20% to 75% (which really isn't too shocking compared to the other deals), EVERYONE will give in and buy it.

Now, that is indeed likely(and i will totally buy it at that price). I still doubt that it will be better than 33% But one thing i know is that Arma 2 will be a daily deal on the last days(for obvious reasons)

As I said in the other thread: MW3 was 50% on the first day, and Call of Duty's are generally more stable in value than gold bars painted by Rembrandt. We will see. The bet's on!

What? Nobody's bought Warhammer 40k: Space Marine?!? That game was $7.50 and is a pretty good time for what it's worth.

I think most of us already got it.

I rented it, and while fun at 7.50 not the best deal by any means.
