Dead Island, Legend of Grimrock, Sonic Generations and the Tribes Ascend starter pack.

Can't remember how much they all were off hand, but I don't think I paid more than £7 for any individual games.

I have been tempted by Morrowind. I already have Morrowind on Xbox (although a friend is borrowing it right now) but I felt like it might be worth a purchase on PC. I think I'll keep away from that unless there's a super high reduction right at the end of the sale.
Yeah, wait for a higher reduction. Not that $12 is too much for the value you will get from the game, but it's starting to look a little greedy at this point in time.

But get it if it goes down to $5 for sure. You won't ever touch your Xbox version again.

OT: I've grabbed a few things like Alan Wake and Legend of Grimrock. I've been keeping my spending as low as I can.

Holy shit is Legend of Grimrock the game I need right now. There hasn't been a hardcore RPG for me to play in ages!

So far, I've gotten:
Rayman: Origins - 14.99
From Dust - 3.99
Noitu Love 2: Devolution - 2.49
Unfortunately, this leaves me with 8.98 in my wallet. I really want Borderlands, but if L4D2 gets voted in for the next sale I might have to get that instead. I guess I'll see in four minutes...
Congrats on L4D2 winning, was pretty much guaranteed to happen.

ot: Rayman:Origins
Tome Raider:lengeds/Anniversary
Mirrors Edge
Darksiders

If anyone could recommend me some really nice titles I'd appreciate it. I love Steam sales but I always get so caught up I usually miss the best grabs
Frozen Synapse. It's an absolutely awesome asynchronous-multiplayer strategy game, and it's only 5 bucks right now.

So far i've only bought The Witcher Enhanced Edition. I was racking my head yesterday deciding to get it for $6, since I've been really saving up for Dragon's Dogma, but i went ahead and bought it anyways; figure i'd just wait for DD to lower in price. But lo and behold, Witcher is now $2.50 the very next day. Awesome.

Though I can't complain, either price is a total steal for this game, it's absolutely amazing. At first, i tried the demo and thought it was exceptionally meh, but then i tried it again after letting the mechanics of it sink in and that's when i decided to buy it. Great characters, cool story, the combat is simple, but fits surprisingly well within the context of the game, and this must be the only game to get me interested in any type of crafting - mostly because the potions are actually pretty clever and don't give generic buffs.

Overall, i'd say if anyone is on the fence with that game, to go ahead and get it. It takes some time get used to because of the way it's mechanics differ from so many other RPGs, but after letting it all sink it, it's very easily climbing to the top of my favorite RPGs.

Saints Row: The Third- Season Pass DLC pack. 13 bucks and you get 3 mission packs. Considering I racked up 93 hours in the vanilla game with my friend I'd say it was worth it.

Thou shalt no let a modern OS keep you from playing KotOR! [http://bit.ly/NFh6gO]
Reported. Only a fool would think I would go through the trouble of trying to install KOTOR and didn't Google for help when it wouldn't install.

I have about 25 games on my wishlist, and none of them have been on major sale yet.

Lost Planet 1 and 2, Dead Space 1 and 2, LA Noir. Am I asking for a miracle for some of these super old games to go 5usd or less?

I feel this is relevant:

Anyway, so far nothing has emptied my wallet. No game I really want has gone on sale yet. I'll let you know when something happens though. Maybe.

Thus far i've thrown money at valve for
Legend of Grimrock (if you EVER played early 3d rpgs, or if you like great games, buy this game)
2 copies of Terraria for some buddies
Lara Croft and the Guardian of light
Half Life 2 complete
Alan Wake's American Nightmare
all of those for super cheap, then Skyrim dropped to 25 euro so I had to shell out for that.

Now i'll just lazily snap up ridiculously cheap games that I've been interested and hope for Torchlight 2 to pick it up for friends. And random ea and capcom games that have zombies or necromorphs in them.

Oh, guy mentioned Arma combined ops was too much at 20. I'm not sure if you need combined ops for Dayz if that's why you want it. ArmaII itself is 12 euro now. Checked this morning, need Combined Ops :(

Seriously? This is the internet; There is no underestimating how little effort someone might have put into a problem they post about and the second post in the first search result should definitely work. I might have been snarky about it, but I was trying to help.

I'm oh-so-sorry to have underestimated your great game-fixing abilities, it's just that the fact that you haven't gotten it to work misled me.
Sending someone to google isn't helping and YES, seriously.

I asked if the Steam version worked better than retail, sending me to google doesn't answer that question. You could have said "Yes, No or I don't know".

BTW, for anyone else out there who may want the answer to that question, it's Yes, the Steam version works fine (I just bought it). So if you can't get the retail disc to install or run properly, try the Steam version for $2.49.

Seems to be just complaints.
Thanks for the heads up, I'm not too familiar with Steam but now I know about that that should help any other questions I have about games, thanks much.

so far I bought Alan Wake Franchise($10 for all of it feels like a steal) and the Binding of Isaac:Wrath of the Lamb(I could think of a lot worse ways to spend 74 cents)

Edit: and now I've made a trade using tf2 items to get a copy of LA Noire Complete(I'm just tired of waiting for it to hopefully show up at 75% off)

I couldn't resist buying Max Payne 3 for $30(!) but I also bought AC: Revelations for $13.

Now which one of you chose Plants Vs. Zombies over Super Meat Boy?
Probably people who like Super Meat Boy more than Plants vs Zombies and already owns Super Meat Boy. It's not a popularity contest, it's about what you want to go on sale next and why would you want a game you own to go on sale next over another game you don't own?
Funny thing is... SUPER MEAT BOY is now on sale, 75% off, hidden flash deal!
Not on my end.

I have Sam & Max, KOTOR (who the hell is still running an OS that will run this game), Ys Origin and Brink
Search Super Meat Boy on the store ;). You can thank me later :D Ah, my Windows 7 works great with Kotor.
Ninja'd. KotOR works just fine with Windows 7. When you get to Dantooine there's a feature you have to turn off in an .ini file if you've got an AMD graphics card, but that's literally the only compatibility issue I've ever run into with it. And I'm really not sure what that feature does aside from choking AMD cards on that one planet; the graphics look exactly the same before and after.
I can't even install it on my Windows 7. I have the retail version though, does the Steam version work better?
Actually, I've got the retail version myself, so I have no idea if the Steam version is any more or less compatible with windows 7. It installs straight off for me, even the built in patcher works. I wonder what could be causing your issue? Usually if the installer itself craps out, it means it's a 16 bit program, but at least my copy is 32 bit. Otherwise it wouldn't work for me.
