Steam Sale 2012 - What games emptied your wallet?

Dude, this Steam shit is awesome. This is my first time with one of their summer blow out things. The prices are ridiculous. Hell, I'm buying shit I don't even really want but might want to play later because it's like 1.50.

Me too, me too. Hell, I got money saved up so I'm just buying people on my friends list (people I don't even know) their wishlist crap because what the hell why not. Good karma and all that.

I've spent I think around $300 so far this summer sale. Would have been less but I keep buying 4 packs and giving crap away. Support the devs and all that.

You made me feel so much better about myself. I jumped to page 7 getting ready to read the posts embarrassed by how much I spent and saw your post right away. I spent about $250.

Does anyone know what that X Superbox thingamajig is that's on flash sale right now? I've never heard it (or rather them, since it's a collection of games), there's no forum, and the official site doesn't make things clearer.

Simplest way I can explain it: Skyrim in space. Wanna go be a bounty hunter? go for it. Just wanna haul and be a trader? Deal. Pretty big barrier of entry, though.

So far I've only purchased Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for my Mac, as well as about $25 in Team Fortress 2 items from the Mann Co. Store.

I haven't really seen anything I want that I don't already have.

Trine's reduced by 75% on my steam. I assume it's because 2 was on sale, they stuck 1 on aswell.

I got the original Unreal tournament for 5 bucks (Was upset that it wasn't the one I remember playing in high school...That one had better graphics and really cool character bios for everyone....Then I played a few matches and was satisfied with what I got. XD).

I got fallout 3 GOTY for 5 bucks. Been waiting for that for a while.

Got legend of grimrock ($5), Xotic ($3) and X3 Terran conflict ($3).

I'm satisfied so far. Crossed a lot of stuff off my wishlist. And I'm resisting the temptation to buy other stuff relatively well.

Only the assassins creed revelations gold edition. Was going to get the ubisoft bundle, but the main reason I was getting that was for assassins creed, and then it won the community sale thingy.
It was 30 aussie dollars, which I'm pretty happy with, although I'm sure it was far cheaper in other countries. Screw you steam

Don't blame Steam bro, blame the fact that the Australian Dollar is far more inflated than the American Dollar.
