Dude, this Steam shit is awesome. This is my first time with one of their summer blow out things. The prices are ridiculous. Hell, I'm buying shit I don't even really want but might want to play later because it's like 1.50.
Me too, me too. Hell, I got money saved up so I'm just buying people on my friends list (people I don't even know) their wishlist crap because what the hell why not. Good karma and all that.

I've spent I think around $300 so far this summer sale. Would have been less but I keep buying 4 packs and giving crap away. Support the devs and all that.
You made me feel so much better about myself. I jumped to page 7 getting ready to read the posts embarrassed by how much I spent and saw your post right away. I spent about $250.

Speaking of gifts, thank you, aPod. I'd return the favor, but you don't have a wishlist, apparently.

Anyway, most of the games I'd have normally bought during this sale were already purchased in previous sales, so my expenditures have been pretty light. But who knows what the coming days will bring.

Does anyone know what that X Superbox thingamajig is that's on flash sale right now? I've never heard it (or rather them, since it's a collection of games), there's no forum, and the official site doesn't make things clearer.
Simplest way I can explain it: Skyrim in space. Wanna go be a bounty hunter? go for it. Just wanna haul and be a trader? Deal. Pretty big barrier of entry, though.

Alpha Protocol, Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim, Borderlands DLC, Dragon Age Origins, and the Dark Forces collection. Oh, and Spec Ops: The Line on Amazon. Hopefully they put Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion on sale.

So far I've only purchased Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for my Mac, as well as about $25 in Team Fortress 2 items from the Mann Co. Store.

I haven't really seen anything I want that I don't already have.

The X series is a space sim. Fly around trading, shooting space pirates in first person cockpit view kinda game.

Nah, no reason to be embarrassed, I'll probably get to 600 before it's all said and done.

Ho ho ho, your welcome. Thanks, I did have a wishlist but I guess I bought everything on it already :)

I didn't see Trine [1] on there, hmm.

I bought Anno 2070 because it looked shiney. I'm kind of like a Magpie in that respect...

Does Cave Story+ has much over the free version? Should I pay 2.49 or just go with the free one?

Oh, and who else thinks Mirror's Edge is going to win this one? A lot of people, including me, expressed they would buy it if it were to go on sale.

Trine's reduced by 75% on my steam. I assume it's because 2 was on sale, they stuck 1 on aswell.

So far only Saint's Row 3 and Serious Sam 3 for a total of $22. I'm sure there will be a few more. I think I got 8 games last summer and I haven't played them all yet.

I've spent £60 in the sale.
Bethesda pack - £40
Counter Strike - £3
Counter Strike Source - £7
Payday the Heist - £4
Portal 2 - £4
Mount and Blade: With Fire and Sword - £2

In the weeks before the sale I also bought
Red Orchestra 2 - £15
Garry's Mod - £6

Bringing the total up to £80. Which is this weeks wages, all of which was spent last week. I love Steam.

Left 4 Dead 2- 10 USD(I know I know, should have waited for it to drop to 5, but I couldn't resist after waiting so long to get it)
Super Meat Boy- 3.75 USD
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition- 2.50 USD
The Binding of Issac w/ DLC- 2 USD
Darksiders- 5 USD
Orcs Must Die! GOTY- 5 USD
Civ V: Gods and Kings- 22.50 USD
Legend of Grimrock- 6 USD
Bastion- 3.75 USD
Mount and Blade: Warband- 5 USD
Gothic 1,2,3- 5 USD
Sword of the Stars Complete Collection- 5 USD

The damage is 65.50 USD, and there is more to be spent. Now, I have never been backlogged in my life of gaming, but there is a first for everything.

I got the original Unreal tournament for 5 bucks (Was upset that it wasn't the one I remember playing in high school...That one had better graphics and really cool character bios for everyone....Then I played a few matches and was satisfied with what I got. XD).

I got fallout 3 GOTY for 5 bucks. Been waiting for that for a while.

Got legend of grimrock ($5), Xotic ($3) and X3 Terran conflict ($3).

I'm satisfied so far. Crossed a lot of stuff off my wishlist. And I'm resisting the temptation to buy other stuff relatively well. :p

Please.. stop Steam, stop! I've still got games from the Christmas sale to play.

£6.99: Indie Bundle 1 (Anomaly Warzone Earth, Cave Story+, EDGE, The Baconing, Lone Survivor (already owned))
£2.00: Aliens versus Predator Classic 2000
£1.49: Deus Ex GOTY
£2.99: From Dust
£4.55: Arkham City DLC (skins pack, challenge map pack, Harley Quinn's Revenge)
£7.49: Serious Sam 3
£3.20: Shogan 2 Total War assorted DLC
£3.75: Metro 2033
£1.48: Binding of Isaac & Wrath of the Lamb
£2.24: Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
£3.24: Splinter Cell Conviction
£2.99: Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet

Total: £42.41, which is pretty good all-in. Some of it frittered away on DLCs but I think it was mostly all on 75% off. 13 games and DLC for less than the price of a brand-new AAA title. It's nearly over.. D:

Only the assassins creed revelations gold edition. Was going to get the ubisoft bundle, but the main reason I was getting that was for assassins creed, and then it won the community sale thingy.
It was 30 aussie dollars, which I'm pretty happy with, although I'm sure it was far cheaper in other countries. Screw you steam
Don't blame Steam bro, blame the fact that the Australian Dollar is far more inflated than the American Dollar.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat $9.99

Plan on getting more soon now that I just got my paycheck.
