I try to avoid Steam sales like the plague. I go into it and head for TF2 or something else before I get distracted by random impulse buys. Which usually fails miserably but so far I haven't spent anything.

nothing so far, I'm holding out for a daily I can't resist or the last day when I know I won't get screwed over by a daily deal showing up for something I just bought. I'm really hoping for a daily deal for the Civ franchise or the Fallout franchise cause there's some DLC I really want to buy.

Over $200 for me and it's only the 3rd day I think but luckily I have very few bills and just got a new job. I pray they run out of games I'm interested in long before the sale actually ends but knowing just how insane this thing can get I wouldn't be surprised if they posted Mass Effect 3 for $4.99 the last day just to kill what's left of my savings. How's everyone else's wallet holding up under this sale equivilent of a massed Zerg swarm?
