As another huge sale draws to a close we look back and think: "...I really should have spent more."

But we must make do with what we bought. So what did you buy?

I myself had $25 dollars to my steam Wallet. And I bought:

Bioshock 2
Painkiller Black edition
Plants Vs Zombies
Dear Esther
Just Cause 2
Space Pirates and Zombies
The Witcher

Also gifted a copy of Sonic CD.

Nothing. Literally nothing. My friend got himself £300 in debt in one day from the Steam sale spending spree... Lucky all his £1000 per month pay is pretty much all disposable income aside from Netflix and his payments towards his super computer or he'd be fucked. I still know he's going to ignore it and get swamped by the stupid amount of interest that will get thrown at him

Being a nurse is pretty profitable I suppose. I couldn't stand it myself but whatever.

Arkham City+DLC-Around £15
Dungeon Defenders DLC for me and a friend- £10
Krater: Collector's edition-£7 {I think)
Mirror's Edge-£3.50 (I think)
Splinter Cell: Conviction-£3.75
Two World 2+DLC-£7
Trine 2-£3.45
Ys: The oath in Felghana-£2.50 {I think)

So that's about £52 in total. Better than I thought.

I bought the DLC for Sonic Generations.

I was gifted all the DLC I was missing for Dungeon Defenders and the Civ IV complete pack.

Most of the stuff I wanted didn't go on sale. Specifically, Ticket to Ride only made one appearance, as part of a $9.99 indie bundle. Ticket to Ride's price? $9.99. And the rest of the bundle I already had or didn't want. Magic only came out about a month ago, so no real surprise that it wasn't on sale. I was still hopeful, though.

All in all, this year's sale didn't do too much for me. Guess that's a good thing, since I am broke.

Ys Origin is the only game i've put any time into, fantastic game, with its fast combat and great gameplay and boss fights it has everything I felt was lacking from The Bastion

The rest-
Ys The Oath of Felganna
Terraria
The Binding of Isaac + DLC
Legend of Grimrock
Cave Story +
Fortune Summoners
Ultimate Doom
Painkiller Black
DLC for Jamestown

Those should keep me busy for a while

I might grab Xotic too as it's a good totally unique FPS however i've already enough games to play atm.

In alphabetical order:
Arma 2: Combined Ops
Beat Hazard
Just Cause 2
Max Payne 3
Poker Night at the Inventory
Side Meier's Civilization V
Sonic Generation
Spacechem
Splice
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II
Tribes: Ascend (Starter Pack)

About £55 worth. Not a bad haul.

Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Technically, I got something from the steam sale gifted to me, a friend got me terraria when it was just a couple of quid. Would've thought about it myself if not.

Thing is, I was saved from blowing my money by my crap computer. It only plays TF2 well when it feels like it, most of the stuff on steam is beyond it. I did think of getting the binding of issaac, but by the time I really thought about it, it wasn't on daily deals anymore. Such is the case when you need to really research stuff to make sure it'll run on your laptop with intergrated piece of slightly soiled cardboard with "GRAFFIX" written on it.

When does the sale actually end? It just says through the 22nd but there doesn't seem to be a definitive posted ending time.. and many of the current sales are slated to end at different times.

If I bought these games on my Steam account on a laptop, downloaded Steam on a desktop and logged into my same Steam account, would my games be available for download?

Yes they would. Your account has the games. not the devices. Though you will be required to Download them to that device again.

Oh, thank God. Exactly what I wanted to hear. Sweet. I would hate to have to set up my fancy new high end desktop right this second in order to make the summer sale on time.

Bought Dead Space 2 for a friend and The Witcher: Enhanced Edition for myself. Didn't want to get a lot given that I still have to play all the games from the last Humble Indie Bundle. Still, not bad for $8.
