Payday: The Heist (again for a second account to play with friends irl)
Portal 2
Rayman: Origins

Is Ys Origins any good? I should probably watch a Lets play... But I still don't intend too :/

After my initial mini-spending spree towards the start of the sale I was able to cut down the spending and I think I did pretty well. Didn't go overboard and only bought stuff that I actually wanted. Whether my laptop decided to run them properly was another matter...

Anyway, my haul consists of:

Assassin's Creed: Revelations Gold Edition
Deus Ex: HR The Missing Link
E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy
Morrowind GOTY Edition
Half Life: Source
Half Life 2
Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers
Trine 2

I'm having trouble running all of them except Morrowind and Half Life. I haven't tried Half Life 2 or The Missing Link yet, but I'm pretty sure they will work fine. Portal 2 and DE:HR vanilla work fine, so they should too.

I bought:

Beyond Good and Evil
Oddworld: Strangers Wrath
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Psychonauts
Borderlands: GotY

... and I bought my best friend a copy of Sanctum, too, so I finally have some one to play it with!

[sub]And I hope she likes it, because there aren't any refunds![/sub]

Was poor for the entire sale, so could only afford Empire total war - nice investment so far!

Nothing. I regret not buying HoMM6 when it was on sale, and it lost a vote yesterday.

I had 20 bucks set aside for the sale and didn't use them, might as well buy dota 2 hats

I got

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit ($5)
Evochron Mercinary ($10)
Ys Origin ($12 - Heard good things and been playing rpg type games for 20 years)
Terraria ($2.50 - Love minecraft felt like playing it's 2d cousin, it's alright)
Prince of Persia ($5, wanted to play it for a while, I'd beaten the Ps2 trilogy)
Bastion ($2.50 - Wanted it for ages - Gifted to me)
Universe Sandbox ($2.50)
Mirror's Edge (suggested by a friend waiting for it to dl $5
Saints Row The Third: Collection (I liked Saints Row 2 so it should be good) $10

Total - $55

I also ended up paying for an $8 mcdonalds meal to square part of the cost, and had a few of the cheaper ones gifted, so it ended up being around $40

These two I got and regretted because my friends, after suggesting them for co-op playing experience, immediately got bored of them...

Payday: The Heist $20
Dungeon Defenders Collection $25 (worst decision ever...)

Total - $45

So all in all my own decisions were sound but letting my friends have input cost me dearly...

Total actual cost is $85... but that got me 10 games and a universe simulation thingy.

I also considered Mass Effects 1 & 2 and the Assassins Creed Collection... but a friend is going to lend me ME 1 & 2 and after checking out the reviews for Assassins Creed... I don't think it would have been a good decision, like I would have gotten more out of everything else.

Vampire: Bloodlines
Torchlight
Star Wars: KotOR

...and I still got enough left over for a nice mess of hats when I get around to installing TF2.

-Ys Origin - $8.99 - Really fun ARPG with incredibly EPIC boss fights. All but 2 of the boss fights were so much fun; it's like your own personal WoW raid bosses but better. I've already beaten the game with Yunica. Some day I'll probably come back for the other two characters and Boss Rush mode.
-Orcs Must Die! Lost Adventures DLC - $.99 - Haven't played Orcs Must Die! for a while; maybe this level pack will stoke the interest.
-QUBE - $3.74 - It looked like a puzzle game I would like from what I saw in Totalbiscuit's video on it.
-Red Faction: Guerrilla - $4.99 - I bought this for $5 off of Direct 2 Drive a while ago, but wanted it on Steam. I love this game, one of my favorite open world GTA-like thingies of all time! The destruction system is so prodigiously cool, I can't stop enjoying this game no matter how much I play it.
-Shark Attack weapon for Saint's Row 3 - $.49 - It looked fun?!! Like most of the zany weapons in Saint's Row 3, they lose their novelty pretty quickly. It's hard to feel bad about spending 50 cents though.
-FallOut: New Vegas Ultimate - $9.99 - I've put a few hours into it. Seems exactly like FallOut 3 so far. But tinted dull reds, greys and oranges instead of browns, greys and greens? Seriously, I have no idea how some people love one over the other, they're like the same thing. Maybe time will show me the differences. The only one I can think of now is guns have sight aiming and manually shooting isn't a dice roll to hit?? Enjoying it.
-Iron Grip: Warlord Scorched Earth DLC - $1.49 - A fun little indie shooter where you defend your base from hordes of approaching soldiers. Has some minor base building RTS gameplay in it too. This DLC added a couple new weapons and enemy types (yeah!), and a Deathmatch mode (who cares?). I play this game every once and a while and always enjoy myself. I payed so little for the original game, I thought I'd "tip" the devs for their nice little game.

Total Damage: $30.68. I have no regrets other than the Shark Gun. So money spent versus purchases regretted = a good haul for this Steam sale. Kinda want to grab the other Ys game before the sale ends in an hour.... must RESIST! But my backlog is already stuffed...

Fallout New Vegas
Civilization V
Dear Esther
The Witcher

The sad part is: I am pretty sure almost none of those games work on my current computer. I bought them because they were cheap and I hope to have a PC that can run them... eventually.

Defcom. What a disappointing game because it is multilayer only.
It has bots you can play against as well.

OT: I got the Civilization IV pack for $7.99 and that was it. I got off easy this time because I didn't have much in the bank and a check sitting here that I couldn't do anything with until last Friday.

With the exception of the Dungeons of Dredmor DLC that comes out next month I'm gonna be good and save my monies for the December sale this year.

I honestly didn't buy a whole lot this go round, mostly because the vast majority of games on sale, I already owned.

I ended up getting:

Dear Esther
Trine 2
The Walking Dead
Gratuitous Space/Tank Battles
Avadon the Black Fortress
Spec Ops: The Line

And a bunch of DLC for Space Marine and Arkham City.

Sid Meier's Civiization V
Thief: Deadly Shadows
Total War: SHOGUN 2

Probably spent about £15 on the three, yet all these games have yet to be played due to Crusader Kings 2. :D

Portal 2
Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate
Binding of Issac Summer Bundle

and i missed the sale on:
Torchlight

and my gaming computer HD from 2004 failed a few months ago, having trouble getting XP on the new HD, waiting to buy/build a new one, have a PS3 and my laptop might be able to run Binding of Issac as it could run Super Meat Boy (for 15 minutes at a time). F:NV and Portal 2 will have to wait.
