So the Autumn Steam Sale is over. Our wallets are finally safe once again, and we can rejoice, while we sit back and enjoy our new additions to our Steam library. But what did you buy? Do you enjoy it? Or do you wish that you kept your hard earned cash?

Personally, I have had a massive craving for Fantasy RPGs recently, so I picked up Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition, and The Witcher 2 to satisfy my craving. Both of those games I'm having a large amount of fun with (DA:O more so than the Witcher).

I also picked up Civ 5 Gods and Kings; which I have yet to play, and 2 copies of Magicka for my friends.

So all in all it has been a pretty costly weekend for me, but it should at least keep me occupied for Christmas.

But what about you my fellow Escapists?

I am good with my money and told myself I couldn't buy so much, especially since there will be another sale for christmas.

The games I grabbed are as follows:
- Anna
- Dungeons of Dredmor
- Torchlight
- Legends of Grimrock

I am excited to start playing them all! I think I only spent about a total of $10.00.

Orcs Must Die! 2 was my only purchase. I'm still have a back catalog of summer sale purchases.

OMD2 is really fun and I love it, except when I'm on wave 10/12 and the game crashes, but I suppose that's my computer's fault, not the game.

I only got Arkham City GoTY, Legend of Grimrock and Dungeons of Dredmore.

Looking forward to playing them all. Christmas sale might be worse.

I picked up

-Zeno Clash
-Cthulhu Saves the World
-Breath of Death 7
-Counter Strike Global Offensive

Granted, CSW and BD7 were in a double pack for $1.50 and Zeno Clash was only $0.99, so I wasn't exactly breaking the bank. I'm still kicking myself over buying killing floor full price a week before the sale happened, it was $5 a day or two ago. I'm still pretty happy with Zeno Clash and Counter Strike, haven't gotten to CSW but I've heard good things.

I actually want to wait to buy more games, after 2 years on steam and quite a few steam sales, my gaming backlog is waaaaaay to long(not counting my console games).

I only bought one game - Legend of Grimrock. It was down to 3 quid, and I thought I might as well get it now, seeing as it isn't going to be that cheap again until at least Christmas.

Nothing really piqued my interest this time around, to be honest. The games I'd like to get were either still rather expensive or won't run on my laptop, and most indie games on my wishlist were still relatively highly priced so I've avoided them.

Also, I'm still working through the Total War binge from the last sale. They're going to last me so long.

I only bought Castle Crashers for $6 and some change (picked up the DLC while I was at it). I told myself that I wasn't going to spend money because I'm saving for a new graphics card.

I bought...

XCOM: Enemy Unknown - I see it as a somewhat flawed but ultimately very enjoyable game, and a throwback to a style of games I used to freaking love that doesn't really seem to exist anymore. So I can't say I regret my purchase at all.

The Walking Dead - I absolutely loved this game. No regrets whatsoever, and I'm glad I took a chance on it.

Max Payne 3 - Haven't played it yet. I loved the hell outta the first one, and the second one was... alright, I guess. Looking forward to playing this one. It was 75% off, so even if it turns out to be worse than Max Payne 2, it's not like I'm out much money.

I actually didn't buy anything. I'm waiting for the Christmas sale, where everything in the Thanksgiving sale will just be on sale again, and I'll actually have time to play some of the games I buy.

Got, bought Legend of Fae, To the Moon, Zeno Clash, the EXceed collection and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. I already have SSFIV:AE, buying the discounted Steam version with all the DLC was cheaper than actually buying the DLC costumes from the Xbox Live marketplace. :p

All I got was Castle Crashers to play with a friend who also got it. Was almost gonna get The Walking Dead but I erred back away from it at the last second.

I recently made my own steam account, because my brother and I were using the same one, and I didn't want to limit my access to my own games once one of us moves out. So I bought Fable: TLC (I have it on disc but a)the discs are getting crappy, and b) I can't find the first disc (which you otherwise need in to play)). I also got the Counter Strike bundle, because while I don't play them much, I like having them there. Also my friend gifted me both Torchlights :) Love that guy, he's awesome!

It is a very depressing game. Great writing, but holy shit is it depressing. I mean, I didn't expect it to be all sunshine and roses, but I was at least hoping for a glimmer of hope. The ending was kind of a letdown, but I won't spoil anything. I'm glad I didn't pay full price, put it that way.

I got The Witcher 2, KotOR 2, and of course The Walking Dead. I would've liked to buy a lot more, but money's tight right now.

My friend convinced me to get both Darksiders games. And I got Mark of the Ninja and the Bastion Sound track because I was stupid and didn't get the soundtrack bundle when I initially bought Bastion.

I only bought Max Payne 3.

It's alright. The basic gunplay is good fun, if rather repetitive.

Sadly, it insists on shoving it's thoroughly dull story down my throat with cutscenes rendered in bright, flickery, headache-o-vision. Also, Max spends the game straining sooo very hard to be bitter and cynical that he's in danger of giving himself a rupture.
