Just got the Dawn Of War: Platinum Edition yesterday for $7.50.

I missed Amnesia: The Dark Descent 50% off a week or two ago hoping it'd be 75% off for the summer sale.

Only things I'm interested in.

Now that I think about it, I don't think there's anything I want.

I guess if Skyrim goes for less than $15 I'll get that but that's about it.

I,m close to broke and still have a considerable backlog
although I might pick up the BTTF games if they are in a cheap package.

Hoping for Civ V+ Gods and Kings, S.T.A.L.K.E.R series, Mount & Blade: Warband, and Skyrim. I already have Skyrim on consol but I want it on my newly built pc. Until then I still have Mount & Blade: With Fire and Sword to keep me busy.

I only have two games that I might want.

Saints Row 3 (two copies)
ArmA 2: CO (four copies)

I feel like I have most (if not all except those two) great co-op games Steam have to offer with my 180+ games from their library. Single player games, I purchase whenever I want to, but as I always buy co-op games for my pirate buddies, those are the only two games I know I'll get during the sale (if it will ever be one).

I'm sure I'll buy lots of other games too, but those two are the ones I'm actually waiting for a sale on.

Really hoping for Skyrim. It's about time the efing game went down in price.

I think Bethsoft is trolling the people who know better than to buy their games at launch right now.

It went down to $40 at christmas time, less than a month after release. Where were all of you people then?

Yeah, I know. 40 seemed like too much at the time... Since I expected to buy the first expansion at full price anyway I'm going for the core game at $30 or bust.

I went out last night and lost my card in a club. Steam sale starts within the next 2 days most likely. Replacement card will not arrive for 14 working days.

Oh the joys of ClickAndBuy.

Well, to be honest, ClickAndBuy makes it so easy and carefree to buy stuff that I sometimes erm...over-do it a little bit. But then again, that means that isn't much interesting stuff left for me to buy during sales. I hope... [sub]my poor wallet.[/sub]

Either I wait for the steam sale and actually get something in it this time around, or I get the Last Story on Wii, a game that will likely be impossible to find after the first day. Damn it I don't know what I should I do...

Someone help me =(

OH YEAH...

I'm looking to get Kingdoms of Amalur and Rage for cheap. Maybe even Crysis 1/2, if I'm feeling adventurous.

*ahem*

But seriously, I'd like to be able to say something like you should hold out on The last Story, only if there's something you really want on Steam, but seeing as I always end up buying a lot of games that I didn't plan on, I'm not sure how good advice this really is. I don't really know that much about the Last Story, but you could be lucky to get it cheaper/used down the line some time. The Steam sale is, after all, "only" twice a year, but you could end up getting a lot more bang for your buck.

That's some sound advice. If the sale starts soon I should be able to make my decision before the game is released. There are certainly enough games on steam I want that warrant participating in the sale. Granted I have to use a prepaid credit card and I've bad experiences with steam when using them...half the time it doesn't let me buy anything so I take the risk of also wasting my money and not getting anything in return.
