I'm completely new to these sales. I'm wanting Dragon Age Origins at 70% off, but if I miss the sale will it go on sale again later in the event, and perhaps at an even better discount? Or should I immediately purchase it now?

Sorry, just a console peasant being confused.

EDIT: Actually, how can I change the Store settings so that it displays the games in different currencies? I just realized that $15 US will be far more in NZ, and I'd rather it displayed the actual price for me. I can't seem to find an option for it.
Not sure how to show it in other currencies. However, if a game is on sale or flash sale (flash sale might not be the lowest) that's the lowest it will be throughout the sale.

Bugger, it is a flash sale. $15 sounds great until you realize it's in US currency, so that could be anywhere around $20-30 here. And there's only an hour left. I guess I'll have to miss out, I only have a debit card and my parents are away.

It's a shame, because I only have a free copy of Portal in my Steam (a promotion thing way back when Portal 2 came out), so I can't access barely anything in Steam. No friends, even. When Elder Scrolls Online comes out, I'll be a proper member then.

Todays been good. Got my Friends Birthday Presents sorted for Under $10, and got myself Skyrim and Scribblenauts really cheap. Now I have no money, but it's okay, because Skyrim.

I'm really looking forward to playing my super cheap Bioshock 1 and 2, as well as picking up the slightly reduced Sanctum 2. Maybe pick up Fallout 3 again since I traded in my PS3 copy forever ago.
Well, I'm looking forward to actually being able to pay for stuff instead of Steam just farting and giving up every time I try and finish a transaction.

So far I've got Don't Starve, Counter Strike: GO for both me and my buddy, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, and Hotline Miami. Hoping Rogue Legacy and a few others go on a better sales. Also if any one wants to trade for a Dead Island Riptide card message me cause I'm sitting on a bunch of them.

Already got Hotline Miami, Defiance, Don't Starve and Rogue Legacy. Depending if KoToR 2 goes on sale I'll buy it regardless of the fact I have the disks. I'm not really sure how much I'll spend, I didn't buy anything Last Summer or Christmas Sale which felt wrong to me :p

Also can anyone tell me how Recettar is? I've been interested for awhile but not really sure about it, or if Evoland is any good or not either

Recettear is great and I enjoyed immensely. A very charming game and there's even a little humour in there. I believe the game has a demo on Steam (I can't get into it to check at the moment) but you can also get at their official site http://www.carpefulgur.com/recettear/ if you can't get it through Steam.

Got me a copy of FarCry 3 and Hitman: Absolution so far. Stalking out Devil May Cry, Overlord and Dishonored. Nearly bought Tomb Raider but I think I'll wait a bit more. It's not like I don't have any other games. My backlog is getting too massive for it to be humanly possible to play through and the sales aren't helping :D
