Hate#1: The fat and lazy stereotype - yes i'm fat I get it , but that doesn't mean i'm lazy, I walk to work everyday and I attend a youth Drama group which means i'm running around after children all evening.

Hate#2: The Weeaboo stereotype - Ok i'm facinated with the Japanese culture, I'm trying to learn the language on my own( which really difficult ) and yes I like anime and manga. But I don't go around fitting random japanese into every sentence, not everything i like is japanese, so please stop calling me a weeaboo!

Hate #1: The British Stereotype: No I am not gay, I am not xenophobic, I am not going to instantly assume I'm better than you, I will make an effort to learn your language, AND NO I DO NOT LIKE TEA!
I get the xenophobic thing too, I like learning about other cultures, if anything I don't like being british because of this stereotype.
I am proud of being British (I mean, I get that we don't exactly have a perfect track record about stuff like the empire. But considering just how many of the ideas and inventions that make the world what it is today came out of Britain I think we have rather a lot to be proud of). But according to my brother and several other people, liking my national identity means I automatically hate everyone I can't instantly relate to... like it's a rule or something. (and I also think it's worth noting... we might have made a lot from slavery in the past, but we were also the first to abolish it.)

The "You're ginger therefore you must be easy to pick on" one. But to be fair, in response to the bullying i have let my hair grow to halfway down my back.

"You're and FPS gamer, so you must be a loud moron who doesn't like originality, plays similar games, and calls other people faggots for not playing FPSs".

Haha no.

I'm cute and I have glasses. OBVIOUSLY I must be really smart and know everything about everything ALL THE TIME! Newsflash: I don't.
It's annoying, helping a couple of people out when they don't know something and wearing glasses means I am now also stereotyped as 'Knowing everything about everything' and I get stick when I don't know something.

I am also stereotyped as posh because I am English. Then I 'respond' to such allegations and they shut up about that.

The "You're a male dancer so you must be gay" one is pretty annoying. Not to mention it's cost me at least one date...

Just because I play World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2 and other games doesn't mean that I've got no friends whatsoever. >.>

A stereotype I love though is the "All Norwegians are Vikings!"-stereotype n__n

The British Stereotype gets on my nerves, sure, I may be a tea drinking, crumpet eating Brit, but I am not gay and I do not have bad teeth, the whole bad teeth thing has been redundant for quite a damn long time now anyway.

The Actor Stereotype: "Hurr he enjoys actin'! He must be a queeeeer!" Oh fuck off.

The 40k Stereotype: "Hurr he enjoys tabletop games! He must be a fat, unhygienic neckbeard!" Again, fuck off.

The Divorce Stereotype: No, just because my parents got divorced does not mean that I am now impossible at forming any meaningful relationship with anybody, does not mean I am always unhappy etc.

The Weeaboo: I like anime, I like some aspects of Japanese culture, that does not mean every other word I utter is a Japanese phrase and does not mean I find everything "HNNNNGH SO KAWAII!!!!11"

The Military Family Stereotype: "What's that? Your family has a large military background? You support our troops? You must be an unthinking, moronic, xenophobic Nazi!" ...Yeah, sure, whatever. How's that Left Extremist lifestyle working out for you there buddy?

Then of course, relating to the war, that good old stereotype that says the Brits can't fight for themselves and that America came and saved our asses.
To be fair guys, the assistance was appreciated, but you showed up pretty fucking late, and by that point we were already doing a good job of winning. Stop taking credit for doing all the work.

Hate#1, I am not a fucking Nazi because I'm a skinhead, skinheads aren't even Nazis!

Hate#2, Because I got brown eyes and black hair it doesn't mean I am a terrorist, and I'm not even from the middle east.

Hate#3 Because I threat people I don't like or disrespect like shit it doesn't mean I try to be cool or that I'm a asshole to everybody.

Quick question... How can you be a skinhead and have your black hair commented on? I'm genuinely curious.

I'm intelligent and don't hate my teachers: I must do well in school, and or am a complete prick.
(My grades are pretty much rolling a dice. And I'm only prickish to people who treat me so or arrogant idiots.)

I like games: I have no life and must play WoW.
(I've got plenty of lives! JK. I'm alive, and have friends. I don't play WoW, but apart from that, what's wrong with it? People have died playing it? 1 in a million is more of an anomaly than the rule. People get hurt and die more often in sports. If somebody does something for most of their time, guess what they're going to die doing. And even WoW causes online friends. You can't easily just cut players off from that.)

I speak to people on the internet: I'm anti social.
(What's anti social on basing friends purely on personality than looks?)

Stay in doors all the time: No life and hates the outside.
(I'm indoors a lot because I like games, and I don't have anything to do outside, because no one ever invites me to do anything and I never have idea for something to do.)

I have Aspergers syndrome and ADHD: I msut be overly hyperactive and require help.

(...I get offered help and extra time for exams instead of the dumb people. Most people don't even believe I have ADHD, because apparently everyone's an expert in it.)

I say I'm misanthropic: I must hate EVERYONE, FOR NO REASON. And I must hate life, and should kill myself to avoid being with people.
(I have reasons, and even though I hate humanity as a whole, I give every individual an individual chance...and then hate them. It's not my fault if they suck.)

Atheist: I must hate religious people.
(I don't hate them. I'm only going to get annoying if they annoy me by ignorantly disagreeing with things without any explanation apart from "God did it". I'm only going to yell if they do that or try to convert me. I can get along with logical people that are religious. I don't mind if someone talks sense, and doesn't hate science, and so happens to believe in God. I think Science and Religion could be compatible, even if God is powerful enough to be beyond logic.)

My vocabulary is better than yours: Must be an attention seeking nerd that reads the dictionary.
(No...and a thesarus would work better.)

Apparently our hygeine on teeth is statistically better than the US, we just don't care as much cosmetically as them (i.e. some people don't want their teeth straightened).

Well, being American, I hate the idea that most people from other countries would consider me to be a fat couch potato, who sits around watching TV, waving a flag and shouting for war. That's a bit of a disquieting thought.

Then there's also the way people think that someone who likes video games as much as I do cannot possibly have a life, or partake in any physical activity whatsoever, regardless of the fact that I play tennis year round.

.....

A skinhead don't need to be 100% shaved, the original skinheads had about 3-5 mm some does even have small mowhawks and Suedeheads usually have 1 cm or a little more, problem?

"Suedehead" a original skinhead just with a bit longer hair and more class, pretty much the same.

I get confused for being a guy or a lesbian because I wear my hair very short. Funny enough; I'd rather they think I'm a guy than a lesbian. I can deal with that. Hell, my closefriends even call me 'Dan'...

I only talk when spoken to, so people assume I'm shy. I'm not shy; I just don't feel the need to gob on about absolutely nothing.

I'm tall and I'm pretty strong/built, so people assume I have a quick temper and looking for any reason to get into a fight, so I get pussyfooted around quite abit. Truth be told, I USED to have a temper; but it was when I was a teenager, and I didn't really know how to deal with losing my grandfather, father and favorite uncle all within the span of sixteen months. It wasn't until I hit my late teens I learned how to control my temper. Now, it takes a lot to set me off. I've heard people tell me I get this look in my eyes like I just want to tear something/someone apart. I smile; fear is better than a beat-down any day....

Thought so, I wasn't 100% sure on the statistics but I do remember hearing that our dental hygiene is indeed better than that of the US, funny fact that, eh?

Let me think...

1) "He wears a lot of black and has long hair, therefore he must be emo/goth." This one bothers me more than it should.

2) The fat, lazy, ignorant American stereotype. First off, I'm far from fat; 6 foot 3 and 170 - 180 pounds. Second, I don't have blind patriotism for my country. Yes I love it here. No, I don't think it's perfect.

3) "He likes heavy metal, therefore he is a satanist." This is just one I got from my dad for a while.

4) "He has a speech impediment (a stutter), therefore he is retarded." I've gotten this one from teachers even. While we don't know the exact reason I stutter, the general consensus from various speech therapists is that my brain moves too fast for my mouth to keep up. By the time I say one thing, I'm already thinking about the next few things.

Those are the specific ones I can think of. I've gotten my share of gamer/musician/teenager stereotypes, but most of those have been mentioned by now.

I really do not understand the stereotype that says the English are xenophobic. I went to America on holiday last year and not a single news report I saw on TV was about any other country. I understand your country is massive but that is still a bit on the bad side
