Stop Picking on Justin Bieber

I initially had the usual irrational dislike for Justin Bieber described in the article, I changed that over time. First of all, the prejudice is because he has succeeded where most males have not without being hyper-masculine. Secondly, he is young, and people view those younger than them in their own gender to be a threat

Not only that, despite everything people throw at him, he's still standing. I find it quite impressive, and to be quite blunt, its a lot more than most people could put up with. Yet he maintains a sunny disposition. Very admirable.

He's actually not that bad. He's get decent music (not something I'd throw on at home, but I don't mind too much if it comes on the radio while I'm driving.)

I don't mind him at all. He makes millions of people very happy. He was funny on Conan. He can definitely sing, and he knows how to play a few musical instruments. I'm not a fan of his music, though. The only song I know is "Baby Baby oh ohhh". I find it kind of boring. But I'm sure a ton of people find some music I listen to boring, too.

People that hate him just spread their negativity like a disease. Because that's definitely something we need in this world. And there was that other thread today, with the psychopathic OP that posted a comedy video of Bieber getting gunned down and wishing that it was real. Honestly? Go get help. If someone you will never meet pisses you off that much, you need some professional help from a psychiatrist. I'm terrified of angering a lunatic like this in real life.

OT: I would say I like to hate Justin Bieber casually. I don't go out of my way to hate him, but I'll happily laugh at a Bieber joke and crack one off of my own if the situation calls for it.

The fact of the matter is is that Bieber is fun to hate. He's a unifying factor, either a bunch of young girls are getting together to love him, or the rest of us are getting together to hate him. Its really rather beautiful when you think about it.

So yes, don't take that away from us OP, for we all love to hate the Biebs.

OT: I actually somewhat like him. He doesn't take himself seriously, which sets him apart from most other pop stars today. He and Ke$ha would get a ton more hate from me, except that Ke$ha's basically a parody at this point, and Bieber is just a kid who got lucky, and everyone (who would revel in his position if they got it first) hates him for it.
