Name: Nathan Andrews

Age: 29

Appearance:Physical: Male, short spiked brown hair, brown eyes, stands around 6'4", his face is 'sharp' (Pointed nose, narrowed jaw and chin), he has some muscle, but is by no means bulky. He has scars from the car crash he and his wife were in, on his chin, shoulders, chest, back and legs. His overall demeanour is that of your average adult.
Clothing: He normally wears a gray trench coat, white shirt, dark sunglasses (Depending on weather conditions), black pants and black shoes. He also wears a cracked gold wrist watch and white gold diamond studded wedding ring.

Powers: Right Hand - Puppeteer From each of Nathan?s fingers on his right hand, an invisible 'Spirit String' can shoot out and latch onto a person, allowing him to ether take control of them. The strings have unlimited range (when attached to the host), however the farther away the person is, the greater the chance that they will break free. The Strings go in through the back of the neck, and wrap around the brain. Once a connection with the host is broken, he cannot use that string again for 24 hours.

Due to the differences between normal humans and Supers on a genetic level, Nathan is unable to use his Spirit String ability on Supers

The Host When attached to a Spirit String, the victim becomes a host to that string. Nathan has the ability to do anything he wants to them, include allowing them to go on with their lives without him even knowing they?ve been infected. He can pull them to him at a rapid pace, whip them about, use them as shields, etc. He can even look through the eyes of a Host, but this leaves him unaware of his own surroundings.

Left Hand - Steel String Master The Strings on his left hand turn solid and become sharp enough to slice through metal with ease

Short Bio Nathan Andrews had been living the good life. He was had a job as chief editor for his town paper and married a beautiful women named Amanda who was a preschool teacher. They both loved each other very much, and Nathan would even come in on some days and do puppet shows for the kids. When he and his wife found out they were soon to be parents, they decided to move to the big city, in order to give their child more opportunities in terms of school and sports.

On their drive out of the town, they were hit by a group of drunken teenagers. Amanda was killed on impact and Nathan just managed to survive. The young man driving the truck was let off the hook, as the Mayor was the young mans father. Instead, the Mayor gave Nathan a cheque for $500,000 in order to cover the 'damages' he had sustained in the crash. This ended up barely covering for Nathan's medical bills and the rest he spent of lawyers in court as he tried to have the Mayor's son arrested, only to have the case dropped due to a lack of evidence.

Something inside Nathan finally snapped and that's when he discovered his ability. He found that he could control people like the puppets he so often used and if needed could turn the strings to terrible weapons. The night he awakened his powers he went on a rampage, taking control of the Mayor's son and making him kill the his own mother and his father (The Mayor), his friends who had been in the vehicle with him and almost the town sheriff before the young man was finally gunned down. Nathan left town soon after, living a life on the road, the hole in his heart where Amanda once was, still empty.

He travels in hopes of finding something to believe in again.

Here we go again!

Acknowledged, but what do you mean by 'again'? I don't think you've played as this guy before...

It depends. If they can get you to come quietly, the Company take you away to a 'secure location' and you're never seen again. If not, they bring out the big guns and take you down by any means necessary.
With the amount of potential destruction so far seen, the act of not submitting to control and research is an act of war against the state

All right, I'm in. Let's do this.

Name: Christian Factor

Age: 24

Appearance: Mr. Factor is 6'5" with blue eyes and untidy black hair. His build is muscular and athletic, speaking more of bulk than of grace. He has some old acne scars near his temples that he usually tries to hide with his hair. Likes to wear heavy clothing; since that wouldn't really be practical in Ubris, he's currently making do with a t-shirt, jeans and sunglasses.

Power: Mr. Factor is the Immovable Man. When he does not want to be moved it is not physically possible to shift him from his position. Bullets flatten on his skin, punches do nothing but hurt your hand, and if he was standing on train tracks, the locomotive would wrap itself around him with the force of the impact; but he would not budge an inch.

The problem being, of course, that he can't move at all while in this state. He is an immovable object, but he has to come out of it in order to do anything.

Bio: Mr. Factor is the sole founder, owner, and employee of Factor Recovery Llc. His business cards say he is a fugitive recovery agent; he himself, and anyone else you ask, will say he's a bounty hunter. Turns out there aren't that many jobs available these days for a young man trying to find an honest day's work without, you know, actually doing much work. After bouncing from temporary job to temporary job for a while, Christian fell in with some disreputable types who nonetheless managed to recruit him into a scheme that was perfectly legal and yet very profitable.

A month later most of the men who introduced him to the profession were in jail. But Christian knew what he was doing now, or thought he did. After all, something like this should be easier for a super than a normal guy, right?

Not so much. Especially if word gets around that you're a super, and the bondsmen who are your clients start figuring they can go to you if they have any superpowered bail-skippers who they need tracked down. Then things get interesting.

Villain still in progress...

Name: Dwayne Ingram

Age: 20, claims to be 23.

Eye Color: Light blue.

Hair: Dwayne has short, neatly combed black hair, normally spiked upward and occasionally parted to the side on occasions where he wishes to look more professional. It always seems as though he is using jell to keep it in place, but he denies doing so, insisting his hair is "just like that". That is, of course, a lie.

Appearance: A tall, fairly attractive young man, with a muscular build and broad shoulders. He is white skinned and not very tan, though his skin appears to be healthy, not a single damage can be seen on it despite having down years of football and other contact sports. His hair, short and well combed, is dark black in coloration, starkly contrasting his light blue eyes.

He wears black khaki pants, held up a leather belt with a silver buckle; a black, long sleeved shirt, with the number 13 printed on the front in white letters; a white collared with black stripes is worn over his casual wear, never closed as to always expose the 13; and a pair of running shoes.

Powers: A lighting bruiser, to say the very least. He's fast, built like a tank, durable, knows how to fight and, possibly worst of all, can manipulate both his mass and momentum, making him something of a human wrecking ball who can charge clean through a wall without issue. His ability as a fist fighter, when he chooses to enhance them, goes basically unmatched, being able to punch with more force than a sledgehammer and quicker than a kung-fu master.

His momentum and mass manipulation, while limited, are a force to be reckoned with, especially when considering the owner of this bizarre ability is known to be extremity creative at times when dealing with an issue. He can, if need be, run straight up the side of a wall by focusing his momentum upward, never having to stop until he decides to change direction; or, on the contrary, he could simply decide to take the wall down by making his mass akin to that of a wrecking ball. He can leap great heights and survive great falls with this ability, but is sure to leave a crater of sorts upon landing. He can not, however, lessen his mass, making floating or any form of flight impossible, meaning any time he spends in the air is due to making himself extremely heavy and launching upwards with heavily enhanced leap, and even then he would rarely get higher than a story.

Personality: He is, to put it simply, a jerk, uncaring and manipulative, but an otherwise alright fellow to be around, save for his pride and lust for power. Truth be told, he's been known to stand up for the little guy, provided it doesn't interfere with his own goals; however, if achieving his own goals requires smashing in that same little man's head, he won't hesitate to do so. He is, in the words of a friend, something of a sociopath, but at the same time, decent when he has the time.

He can, at times, appear to be extremely thick headed and at other times disturbingly intelligent, switching back and forth between the two without much warning. It was once suggested by a school administrator that he might have a learning disability, causing his intelligence to fluctuate depending on his level of interest, though many seem to agree that he is in actuality a genius of some sort, but is simply very lazy and doesn't like to think.

Dwayne shows little respect for those of the opposite sex, being something of a womanizer and partially sexist. He has had plenty of girlfriends in the past, most of which he broke up with due him having grown bored of them. His attitude towards his friends, however, is far different, as he treats all of them with respect and is considered "the big, friendly guy on campus' by just about all of them.

Finally, it should be noted that he is a terrible liar, with most of his facades being easy to see through.

Bio: Dwayne is a long time resident of Urbis, having spent the majority of his early life and adult years there. He was born the son of a wealthy businessmen and a lawyer, both of which very successful, who gave him basically everything he wanted in life, ranging from fast cars to nice schools to sweet condos. He was never like his parents, though, and never had a work incentive throughout his school years; the only reason he managed to make it into his college of choice was through the numerous sports he participated in during high school.

His powers developed sometime during freshmen year of highschool, though he only took notice to them during junior year. Once he found out about his abilities, he found only two uses for them, the first being enhanced performance during sports and the second being party tricks, though he had always hoped the time would arise where he could use his powers for something far more...nefarious, even if he has no idea what that word means.

I was thinking that it would be a sort of official secret with certain people. If you ask them if he's a super, they'll tell you he isn't, but if they have a super that needs to be dealt with they'll quietly hire him. The Company and the government don't know he's a super, but he hasn't taken extreme measures to hide it, mostly because it's just not something he thinks about too often.

Name: Damien Lier
appearance: 20 years old, male, with blond hair and steel-gray eyes. He wears sneakers, black sweats, and a red shirt, with a black sleeveless flak jacket over the shirt.
Power: Gravity. He can manipulate the gravity around him within a set area. Whether he is redirecting the flow of gravity to disorient his enemies, condensing it into deadly projectiles, or encasing himself within the gravity and turning himself into a human wrecking ball, Damien is a force to be reckoned with.
Bio: When his parents died, leaving him alone at age 8, his life turned to shambles. First he lived in the orphanage, where the one good thing happened in his life. He met a girl named Rose. At age 12, they left the orphanage and lived on the streets. Soon after, at age 14, Rose was accidentaly shot during a gang fight. Damien watched as she died.Damien lost all sense of sanity as his powers awoke. He went on a rampage and destroyed every single one of the gangsters. There are six months in Damien's life he cannot remember, starting from the day when he killed the gangsters. Damien has spent the last 3 years honing his powers.
Psychological: Damien is incredibly resilient. No matter what happens to him, he will get right back up and continue whatever it was he was doing. He is also fiercely loyal, protecting his friends even if it means putting himself in the line of fire.
However, when Damien gets into a fight, he is incredibly ruthless, stopping at nothing to achieve victory. This does not mean he is a moronic brute; rather, he is a genius of war who is not above any tactics. If the enemy is stronger than Damien is, then he will resort to guerrilla tactics. If not, then Damien will confront the enemy openly.

Alright, there it is! I had to search a nonexistent thread for it, a thread that never was, isn't, and never will be to find it. I'm not entirely sure what that'll do to the fabric of reality, though...

Second sheet will come later.

I hope this is good.

Name: Vladislav Semenov

Age: 34

Appearance: At 5"10' Vladislav is a fairly skinny, almost malnourished man, with a drawn out face that looks permanently tired and worried. He has short dirty brown hair and unkept stubble and over his body there are numerous scars from beatings and testing by the Company. He wears a faded blue shirt, a ratty old grey zip-up hoodie, badly repaired old jeans and scuffed leather runners.

Power: Vladislav has the power of electrokinesis; he can create, control, a absorb electricity and electrical energy. His abilities are not fully developed but he can easily make a sizeable electrical attack. He has good control over his ability but he can have trouble when it comes to absorbing energy as it takes all of his concentration.

Short biography: Vladislav was born in russian to a poor widow and a high ranking soldier. When Vladislav was eleven he and his mother managed to get asylum in America in exchange for information about his father, and at the age of seventeen he started to develop his powers, all-be-it uncontrollably.

His powers continued to develop untill his graduation at the age of twenty-three when he was picked up by the Company. During his entrapment by the Company he was tested apon for uncountable years in an unknown location untill he and some others managed to escape the facility they where kept in with the help of some pro-super activists.

Since then Vladislav has been living on the streets and constantly moving. He is now living in Urbis scrounging for money and sleeping in an abandoned trainyard.

Notes: Vladislav carries with him a police issue Beretta 9mm and a collapsible ASP that he stole off of a murdered police officer.

Your sheet's rather good, but I worry; isn't there already an electric guy? Not only that, but he's Nukey's character, meaning (since he was a major player in Surge) he'll almost definitely get in... I'm sorry, I like the character, but I worry about your chances if Words decides he doesn't want any characters with similar powers...
And, yes, I am aware of the hypocrisy of me telling you this, since my character is in and of himself a direct homage to Words's own in the first two games.

Yes. Yes I did. His name was supposed to be Connor Lier, but somehow in Surge I screwed up and started calling him Damien. A little Easter Egg for the attentive, if you will.

Also, albeit is one word. It is nitpicking? yes. However, it is one of my pet peeves, along with spelling 'canon' like cannon, as in the thing that makes stuff go boom.

Ok, thanks for pointing that out. I was rather overly tired, after studying for my school certificate, at the time of righting my sheet. I'll edit and repost my new character sheet.

It may indeed; an edit would be nice, to prevent confusion, but I won't force it.
On the other hand, Nukey will probably take a new name if when he goes nasty, so we needn't worry too much

On the topic of two Nathans: I'll likely change my character's name soon if it's really bugging anyone, most likely to Lucas, Scott, Todd or something equally douche-y.

And yes, 3W, I'll certainly be taking up a new moniker once my guy goes one winged angel.

...How about Gideon? Wallace? Stephen?
Oh, great one: Brian. As in, "Brian Lee O'Malley".

And, uh, I know you probably don't need me telling you this, but just in case you've forgotten; you haven't got your reason for being in the city up yet... sorry.
