I was born with 4 thumbs, one extra on both hands. At birth I could only move one set and they soon removed the extras (which they'd have done anyway).

Funny thing is that the joint for one of them was left in and I've learned to move it over the years, so I can move a thumb I don't have. No one believes this until I show them!

Maybe I'll try and record it on my phone.

My mistake. You are obviously NOT an alien. You are 100% human in all ways: Including female sex.

If I'm an android... can I have a sex? Because Im pretty sure I am a female android.
Thank you! That will work!

Maybe you should look closely at your android body. I guess you will see if you have a sex.
And I am pretty sure there are/will be female androids for all the good and bad reasons.

Another special thing for you: You are an android with a sex! :)

I can shoot spit bubbles. like, make a bubble on my tongue made out of spit, then blow it off the tip of my tongue. I can also shoot a stream of spit, so, if I'm lucky I can shoot down my own spit bubbles with my stream of spit.

The search bar couldn't find me anyting quite like this question so here goes.

Can you do something strange but nobody believes you because you can't prove it?
If so: frustrating isn't it? ^^ So here's your chance to vent.

I'll try to kick start things with some examples of my own.
I can make a very strong cold shiver run down my spine voluntarily. Not by thinking of something that gives me shivers, it's more like moving a finger. Nobody believes me though since only I feel it. And I can't think of any way to prove it besides maybe jagging a voltmeter into my spine.

I can actively remember my baby years, birth and even some time in the womb. It's just fragments though. Ofcourse nobody believes that because I can just make memories up since nobody really knows what goes on in a baby's head.

That's enough from me though. I'll add more if the thread takes off but this isn't the "look how awesome the OP is" thread. So let's hear it!
Oddly enough, I think I have the same ability. It is difference in the sense that it feels more like I am "powering up" energy wise, although no physical items start flying up and my hair doesn't turn all spikey and go ultra blonde. I can pull the energy up to my head and then disperse it. Does it do anything? Not that I can tell, but if I had the power to release the energy, it would, it just stops short of that lored about genetic partition in our brain that was put there to keep us from accessing all the uses of our brain and thus we are limited to usually less than 10 percent of its function. I also consider myself an empath sometimes, I have seen people hurting like hell and have somehow used that energy thing to draw their pain into me. It seems to work somehow, I don't know.. but I sense their level of pain, consume it, and somehow it decreases the level a bit once I draw on it.

I am thinking that I need an outside source to harness the energy, it seems use of Tachyon Energy Cells, do indeed have a LARGE effect on me. The first exerience I had with them, I held 2 cells and drank some normal bottled water that I had tachyonized for a few hours. Literally 10 minutes after that, it felt like I had eatten a tab or two of ecstacy, waves of serotonin washed over me for hours, even when I got off work, I felt light headed and in a daydream sort of effect. Now I realise the first paragraph appears a bit far fetched, like the OP's comments as well. This second paragraph I am doing studies into, and have repeatable results. I have used blind studies (random people at parties that I said, here hold this) and 10 minutes later their headache is gone, or other random tests. They even work on plants and animals, for example, you can put tachyonized water into a vase, and normal water into a second vase, and the flower in the normal water dies in 3 days as usual, but the tachyonized water plant lives for 7-9 days. Ultimately, there is an unseen force here, as in I can prove that Tachyons exist as in they effect biological material, however, Tachyon particles are SOOO small and go soo fast (THROUGH the earth's molicule gaps at NEAR the speed of light or faster) we don't have machines sophisticated enough to measure these particles. Perhaps when they built something smaller than a nano-meter or something that day will come. But ultimately, I know what I feel when I interact with these crystals, but machines can not prove a feeling, so to anyone I try to tell about this, they are like .. SURE that sounds reasonable..cough cough...

However, I have been looking at some of the equipment that can verify that they have an effect. One machine that seems to work but i have yet to have the funding from an investor to pursue getting a Kirlon Camera (preferable digital so I could do multiple research projects). But such a device has long since been used to photograph someones "aura" or the energy that emits from being a biological computer. Some people claim to be able to see this energy, but that is unverifiable, unless you had one of these devices. You could scan someone than have this said person look at the person and see if they guess the right color. You would need to do dozens or hundreds of tests to prove it, cause some people are just good guessers. But my point is that, with the use of Tachyon energy cells, you can increase the amplitude of this aura. You take a picture of someone before interacting with the crystals. Then give them a few crystals and have them drink some of the tachyonized water, and 10 minutes later their aura is FREAKING HUGE, it literally multiplies the field of effect that is generated. But ultimately, this is as close as we have come technology wise to building some sort of device that can test the effects of tachyon energy. But still we have not gone far enough to make a device to detect the waves themselves, we can only see their effects on material. But I think that if someone was to pursue this line of research, they could eventually develope something that might indeed detect their existance.

Well that is a long enough rant about all that for now, if anyone is interested I could tell you a bit more about how it works, why it works, and all that good stuff, but for now, I just wanted to relate to the OP's concept about having abilities or notions about something but not having the physical or fisical ability to prove it.

I can "delete" memories at will (how the hell can one prove that?)

I can bend my thumb backwards completely, so that the tip of the nail touches the joint linking my thumb to my hand (people freak when I do it, i wonder why?)

every sunday, I wake up at exactly 6:06:06 a.m. always.

I'm sorry, but the reason why no one believes that you have this power (if you're being serious) is because you don't. Quite frankly, all of those things you said anyone could do. Anyone can make a rough calculation of a group of items, have the common sense to stablise a drink on a dashboard (they fall over all the time, of course you'd put your hand out) and, uh... Jump through a net?

Incorrect. http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=people-only-use-10-percent-of-brain

I'm sorry, but this simply cannot be done. No studies have ever proven that this exists and by god, plenty of pseudo-scientists have tried to prove it.

And your studies? Please, give me a break. Asking people at a party if their headache is gone because you've focused is not a blind study. In an actual scientific environment, I bet you'd have no results.

As for me, I honestly can't think of anything. Have some knowledge of the law? When I tell people I study law, they rarely believe me. It must because I'm way too cool for school.

Sometimes I can see things before they happen.
I am able to stop myself caring for someone in an instant. (Hard to reverse it.)
I am able to tell when a TV is turned on without it's volume being up without even being able to tell there is a TV in the room. (From an adjacent room based on a weird almost electric feeling around my ears.)

OT:
I can dislocate (at least it looks like that) my right thump as I wish and "relocate" it without external force.
You believe me when you see it.
Most people say that is gross but otherwise I don't show that very often.
You can dislocate your thump? Wow that is impressive. I wasn't even aware humans had a thump.
The thump isn't located on the hand.. its more .. nether..

I can imagine 7 dimensions.
This one is very hard to prove.
It also makes my brain hurt.
Do tell what dimension 5,6 and 7 is. Or atleast 5.
I think he is referring to 7-dimensional space [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N-dimensional_space].

Any gamer should be able to imagine a 4 dimensional space with ease. Just think of any light/dark parallel world game. Sure the 4th dimension merely contains 2 discrete states instead of a infinite number of continuous states but it still is technically speaking a 4-dimensional space.

I can pop my ears at will, I don't need to do the valsalva maneuver or forcing a yawn. I'm not sure if anyone has not believed me but a few have seemed rather incredulous.

1. I'm fairly certain that can be both a blessing and curse... (suppose that depends if your other half knows whether you can do it)
2. OK, via the tennis ball in the armpit? That's also a good way to make your pulse almost unreadable.
3. Do I/we want to know?

Yes, I can do the nostril flaring thing-y too.

That and I regularly use my ears to pull my glasses up my nose...

Also, a lot of people don't believe my phalangeal dexterity (ah, regardless of context... or hand for that matter...)

I can vibrate my eyes and touch the top of my wrist with my thumb. Useful.

EDIT:

Further on, memory is an odd thing. You might be able to recall experiences you've never went through, as in: "Ahh, I remember the cabin at the lake we was at when i was four" - But you never went to any cabin near a lake.
Completely agreed. However I once told my mom what exactly I remembered and she was amazed and told me those events did indeed happen. In fact, the memories I have of my birth are consistent with the complications that arose during it.

I can do the TV thing as well, although I'm fairly certain that's common.
