No, no Zebra!

What kind of ants did you eat? I only know of two species that are any good, honey ants, and an ant you find in Queensland that has a green abdomen, sorry can't recall the name.
I'm not sure I got them as a present.

Well I ate a big furry caterpillar when I was a kid and it made me sick. Besides that I guess it would be snails or baby squids. Somewhat regular food but it still grossed the shit out of me.

Cheese on toast with ketchup. Don't ask.
That actually doesn't sound too bad...
I know it's fairly nice actually.
Now that I think about it; that's just Grilled Cheese w/ Ketchup, that's not even strange lol.

Mine would be cereal with water, because the box said that if you ran out of milk to use water. Needless to say, I've never run out of milk since.

I almost got roped into eating a balut, but ran away from the smell... and the other kid throwing up. So I guess the strangest thing I've eaten would be pizza with pepperoni, M&Ms and both pizza and chocolate sauce.

Scorpion
Chocolate covered Ants.

Go on edible.com for cool foods. My local butcher does Ostrich, Crocodile & Kangaroo too.
Ive eaten all of those, and had Kangaroo for dinner last night, do I win yet? XD
What about Zebra? Or Shark? Or Swordfish?
Ooooh, I've had swordfish it's not very nice.

Strangest I've had was squid rings. I mistook them for onion rings.

weaver ants and their eggs (sticky rice is dipped into a mixture of ants, eggs and chili)

Fried Bamboo Borer Moth larva. fried in oil (we called them Thai french fries) they are delicious

Laap, minced meat mixed with roasted rice, lime juice, fresh herbs and fresh chili, has its origins in northeast Thailand and Laos, and is a dish known well outside the region. Laap as it is served in northern Thailand is an entirely dish altogether and is virtually unknown outside of the region. The most popular type among locals, laap khom, literally ?bitter laap? combines minced raw meat, typically beef, mixed with a curry paste and bitter bile from the stomach of a cow.

another version is raw minced meat, (pork and beef are the most popular) cracked dry roasted rice, mint, garlic, lime, chili and the fresh blood from the animal is then mixed in eaten with sticky rice

What is a balut?
A balut is a fertilized duck (or chicken) egg with a nearly-developed embryo inside that is boiled and eaten in the shell. They are common, everyday food in some countries in Southeast Asia

What is a balut?
A fertilised duck egg, with an almost full grown duck embryo.

Anyway, for me it's fried maggot's. Sounds dirty, I know, but it tastes damn good and I couldn't get enough of it when I actually collected the balls to taste it. Makes a great snack if you ask me, instead of crisps. Much healthier as well, low on fat, high on protein. I'd prefer them over crisps really, too bad you can't get them anywhere :-(

Actually I have seen a person eat a Balut, didn't find it very appetising.

Thats one thing I'll never eat I guess.
