Hi all.

So I just wanted to see what wierd items people have seen in games.

Mine are:
A Lampost in Winter (Dragon age: Awakening, its an ice staff... and its damn good)
Rancid Gravy (Persona 3 healing item... that someone left in a suitecase in a wierd huge death building)

Now post yours, have fun.

The Stoppable Force
Linkin's Sword of Mastery

Also Gorge the Corpsegrinder's pants, but I can't remember what they were called.

Oh, and Eyepoker.

Yes, I'm a WoW nerd and....well, I'm not goddamn proud of it, but I refuse to feel shame.

I wanted to mention Disgaea3, but that one has a lot of weird descriptions, not item names.

Those names to describe item abilities in RPGs are funny though, you could get a scythe called "Bloody Scythe of Goring" or "Flaming Scythe of Darkness" and that assumes the effects never provide buffs/heals for the target which could give you a "Poisonous Scythe of Healing".

Awesome sword, and the only low-level weapon I kept in my paladin's bank. When I finally quit playing I logged out with that weapon equipped.

Are you serious? You can actually get a Lamppost in Winter? Was that part of the Feastday DLC or something?

Wirt's Third Leg - WoW
Wow, that's beautiful :)

I've played Diablos I and II but I never knew that Wirt lived on in WoW as well.

I was about to mention, actually, that I think a lot of Blizzard items could be contenders in this thread. Sadly I cannot think of any, though.

Toss, double post.

There is this one game known only as Ar Tonelico. The main healing thingimabob is called Healy C, which doesn't sound strange, but when you are in the midst of a battle for the fate of the world and the known universe is ablaze around you, Healy C really breaks the mood. But it is in a good way.
