Years ago, I heard their song 'Since I Left You', looked up more of their stuff, came across that. 8)

This used to be one of my favorite songs... and is still one of my Karaoke favorites.

Ok, OT..

Henry Hall - Here Comes the Boogeyman (Thanks Bioshock 2!)

The band itself has sort of declined from their earlier songs, but I love this song regardless. The chorus and singers are...weird, but after the first shock, I totally fell in love with it.

Aside from Mr. Bungle and the occasional SOAD, this is all tame.

Major Organ and the Adding Machine.

You're welcome.

Strange huh?

Can't get much stranger than that.
It can, the original first version:
"Between the Buried and Me" have strange all over them, it is hard to pick a specific song. Since the strangeness is already in the beginning, I will just post Fossil Genera:

the entirety of Frank Zappa's "Joe's Garage"

it goes from a garage band to human/appliance intercourse and its all about the censorship of music

One of the strangest bands I can think of ever.

Edit: I entirely forgot about another oddity: Mr. Scruff

Say whaat, not a very original thread, but what the hell.

The motherflippin' genuis of Tim Smith and 'his band' Cardiacs. They're fucking insane, and I mean flat out crazy, but the amount of ideas and harmonies in single songs are incredible. They are said to have more ideas within one song than most artists have in their entire career, and Tim Smith encrypts the messages to the point of utter subjectivity. They put chaos in order, and successfully merge psychedelia with punk, prog rock and pop. The morale of listening to Cardiacs is that if you are a good listener, you will fall in love with the hard work and insane details put into every song. They've inspired [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Smith_(musician)#Influence] great artists such as Steven Wilson and System Of A Down.

Beginners' album: A Little Man And A House And The Whole World Window
The Masterpiece: Sing To God (don't worry about the album title, things aren't always what they seem)

EDIT: Cardiacs is being credited for inventing the "Pronk" genre (progressive punk). Unfortunately, Tim Smith suffered a severe stroke in 2008 and has been recovering ever since.

I saw it on a Chinese music channel. It's an awesome song :3

My strangest songs:

Manic by Twice Too Many, basically my rage song. Go look it up, the guy only has like 15 people following him.

Die Eier Von Satan by Tool, a messed-up industrial pseudo-metal song in which some guy is talking in German. It sounds like a Satanic ritual, but it's actually a recipe for Satan's balls xD

Ruler of Everything by Tally Hall, it has some insane vocals across your average pop-rock song. Pretty interesting band, if not all that good xD

Rawnland Gregory Erickson the Second by Starfucker, basically it's intro-intro-verse-instrumental-instrumental-verse-outro. On top of that, it's an awesome song ^^
