Strangest way you've died in a Game

In Oblivion quite recently, I was turned into a vampire. While trying to find the cure, I was waiting outside a castle so the doors would unlock [small](or some shit like that)[/small] and without feeding for some time, the sunlight killed me.
Another time I challenged Umbra. At the time I recently escaped the Prison and well, I didn't know too much of her. Technically, I didn't die, but I had to run to the Imperial City, and pretty much everyone else died.
Another was getting thrown halfway across a bridge in Fallout 3, mostly because I threw a few dozen different mines in front of me, and was thrown into a Deathclaw.

In STALKER Call Of Pripyat, a bloodsucker ambushes me in the safe zone and all of the other STALKERs look at me like "what's that retard doing".
It was surreal.

After a while of playing, my adventurer was essentially the biggest badass in the world (Granted, I got it that way through using a cheap method of stat-farming: Find zombie animal, choke it. It never dies, you get an infinite amount of wrestling skill and stat boosts). I was swimming down a river wearing full plate armor and carrying a warhammer, caving in the skulls of vicious carp and sea lampreys. All of a sudden, my whole game is covered in "The carp/sea lamprey has been encased in ice." There were about 200 of these announcements. I finally scrolled through all of these things to find...
That the river had completely frozen solid, freezing me in the ice, killing me instantly. All thanks to the game's... rudimentary season system.
I couldn't be killed by a titan or a hydra, but I was instantly killed by a river. What an end.

For some reason, ever since the patch to add Battle of Forli and Bonfire of the Vanities in Assassin's Creed 2, sometimes if I sprint into a group of pedestrians, I die. Seriously, I'll just bump shoulders with two of them, fall to the ground, and get desynchronized.
In L4D2 I was playing a versus match, it was the concert finale of Dark Carnival and I had spawned as the tank. The survivor I was chasing had been incapped twice and was in the red but I was so low on health that I was about to go down myself. So in a moment of pure frustration I tossed a chunk of concrete straight in the air just as I died. Well as the tank slowly sank to the ground I got to watch as the guy ran away and promptly got killed by the concrete chunk falling down from the sky.
I poked a skelly in Fallout 3 and it ***** slapped me to New Mexico.
It's some sort of glitch. One time a raider I killed started stretching, stretching, stretching, then snapped back and spanked my ass into my brain. I love Fallout 3, even for its hilarious glitches.

That used to happen to me too. Both in San Fierro and Los Santos. I would exit a building and suddenly hear multiple planes flying into buildings. I would run into the middle of the street to avoid getting hit by falling wreckage but random debris killed me a couple of times.Hazy said:

I can't remember the game but I remember it didn't load the level properly and as I was sprinting I just dropped dead, turns out a tree had popped into existence...the exact second I passed over it's location. So I had to watch my clippy body spaz out inside a tree.
On GTA 4 online I managed to skillfully dodge a car being RPG'd right next to me, felt pretty awesome and started shooting back for the bonnet to land on my head and crush me to death.

I was playing Halo 1 multiplayer with 2 friends on Blood Gulch. I was hiding in a cave getting ready to shoot my friend in a tank with the rocket launcher I had just picked up, when the tank passed right by the cave entrance. I got out of cover to shoot just in time for my other friend to try to snipe the tank. The bullet ricocheted off the side of the tank and blew my head off.
I got sniped by a guy who wasn't even aiming at me and was not in my line of sight.
Never saw it coming...

The pumps exploded sending the car flying and instead of heavily damaging the car, simply killed him. He was flying through the air when the "You Got Smoked" message popped up for no reason and killed him.

in bfbc2 got my black hawk run over by a UAV. imagine a bug flying into your hand and the bug flying sraight through it
I can say the oddest way I've survived something was on San Andreas...I felt like skydiving without a parachute. When I was just about to hit the ground, CJ got hit by a taxi, instantly cancelling the 20,000ft drop and only losing a sliver of health.
Strangest way of dying was probably on GTA IV when I managed to outrun N.O.O.S.E. on a motorbike, hit a car and went flying down the road barely surviving. The lamp post that broke my flight then fell on my head, killing me.
That or randomly dying for no reason in Oblivion (The Nine Divines were probably bored).
