The Dynasty Warriors video game series.
To be honest I barely understand why I love them, let alone recommending them to other people.
The games are basically just repetitive hacking and slashing while plowing through hordes of enemies without a care in the world. Not to mention the characters are over-the-top, cheesy and cliche' and adding to that you get a face full of hammy voice acting turned up to 11.
So yeah, I wouldn't recommend them unless someone specifically asked for something like that.
I think I would take that one step further and say the Dynasty Warriors Blank series (so far there's just Gundam and Fist of the North Star) but the reasoning remains the same. Of course with the Gundam and Fist of the North Star you can add the fact that the one is a huge, decade spanning series of multiple series and the other was a none-too-well received franchise (in the US anyway). Although if you do like DW, Fist of the North Star is the one that makes the most logical sense (ie: one person killing hundreds of other people per level)

There are some foods I love that I wouldn't recommend. To name three; Unadon, Takoyaki and, Baby-Octopus Sushi. Unadon is Unagi Donburi and while you may like certain types of donburi (fish/meat + veggies and rice in a bowl) Unagi translates from Japanese into Eel. I love Eel but many people would avoid it.
Takoyaki is a sort of dumpling, ball shaped and a Japanese finger-food I absolutely love! A Japanese Taco however, isn't the same that many other Westerners are familiar with since in Japanese Tako = Octopus. Takoyaki is basically just large enough for a bit of tentacle or something so maybe if you like Calamari you'd like Takoyaki (although Takoyaki is more savory than salty)
Baby-Octopus sushi is basically self-explanatory. It's sushi (rice wrapped in sea-weed) but it's topped with a whole baby squid. As in a whole, cooked baby squid (or two depending on where you get it). This was the first thing I've eaten whole as in brain, eyes and, everything and while I liked it, I couldn't recommended to people who are creeped out by eating things that can look at them
