Power metal. It's hard to play, invokes Dungeons and Dragons, can't be danced to, and won't get you laid. Man do I love it! \m/ R.I.P. Ronnie

Lessee...

I like a singer called Voltaire (yes he took it from the French one) but I acknowledge that he's terrible at lyrics and a lot of people can't seem to get past that.

There are a lot of things that I like because they're so terrible they're awesome, but the problem is I would recommend them because I'm a sadist.

Seriously, go watch The Room.

The Dynasty Warriors video game series.

To be honest I barely understand why I love them, let alone recommending them to other people.

The games are basically just repetitive hacking and slashing while plowing through hordes of enemies without a care in the world. Not to mention the characters are over-the-top, cheesy and cliche' and adding to that you get a face full of hammy voice acting turned up to 11.

So yeah, I wouldn't recommend them unless someone specifically asked for something like that.
I love those games. So much. They were just the best games. Haven't played any for a while though...

I really can't think of anything I wouldn't reccomend to someone, if I liked it. Worse that can happen is that they don't feel the same eh?

Dubstep I wouldn't recommend to anyone I know because I believe they wouldn't like it.

Studying music (seriously, you have to be insane to even consider it)
The next thing that pops to mind is Neverwinter Nights, I love it, but I can see why people would be put off
My Dying Bride (the band), I'm a big BIIIIIG fan, but most people wouldn't like them.

Wat?
Yes. Fedoras are awesome and I shall never top wearing mine... except in summer, then it's too warm for that.
It's actually the opposite for me. I've got so much hair that in the summer, I need the hat to at least avoid a little bit of sun, since my black hair is already as it is, hot as all hell.

The NCAA Football games, I love these games, they are not necessarily my favorite games, but I probably play them the most. I never recommend them to people because most of the people I play video games with are not as into the games as I am. The dynasty modes are what I play the most, because I find it fun to take a lower prestige school and turn it into a powerhouse football program.

Minecraft and others like it. I LOVE Minecraft but I know that it's a game that can get boring if you don't make your own goals, so I don't recommend it to everyone.

Alcohol. In vast quantities anyway. I love the stuff, and I'll be out getting drunk tonight. But I've woken up in my own vomit a fair few times, and blacked out more than I can remember. So yeah, alcohol.

It's also difficult finding anybody else who likes it. I've loadsa friends who like emo, screamo shit, loadsa death metal and thrash metal fans. I have very few friends who can appreciate something as over the top as Rhapsody of Fire.
Stuff like this, and folk metal aswell, I just can't get enough of.

Something I love but I can't recommend? If you asked same time last year, I'd say Dubstep. But now that I've delved into it, I can recommend many dubstep artists that are not all WUBWUBWUBWUBWUB! One of which is Feint. Very soothing music by them.

Aside from that it's a tie between Comic Books and Games. I find it difficult to recommend a "good game." A game is good based off many factors, but primarily its genre. If I offer a friend of mine that loves historical warfare Portal, he'd most likely not enjoy it as much as Total War or Age of Empires.

I just thought; whisky. It's really an aquired taste. And no I don't mean mixing it or anything.

Exactly, hence why I want to live long and healthy because I'm probably not going to get another chance to see this wonderful universe of ours.

I dunno. Nothing really. By that I mean, I like a lot of weird, far-out there stuff, but I don't think most people will dislike it. I honestly don't have a good grasp on what most people will and will not like. I basically recommend whatever I like to people unless I know, for 100% sure, they will not like it.

I have a thing for raw bacon. now, I wouldn't recommend it if you haven't tried it. for health issues. also, the shame.

on a more serious note, I really love movie soundtracks, especially epic ones (you know, Gladiator, LOTR,...,), but the idea of telling people that they should just totally go listen to it because I just think it's that awesome actually makes me uncomfortable in a way. I also find it really weird to listen to that music with others, because it sort of gets to me more. it's hard to explain, like it's more supposed to be private.

Saya no Uta. Most beautiful game I've ever played, but try explaining that to someone without prior knowledge.

I tried to write up an example, but it's just impossible.

Fedoras never look as good as you think they do, not to mention all the oblivious schmucks who mix them with trench coats... I feel nothing but pity.

pirate metal. Not the "Hur hur hur free music type" but actual "YAAAR HAR!" pirates.
basically, flogging molly and alestorm.
And wearing a bowler hat on top of a sombrero in the middle of town. That was an eventful day.
