Uncharted trilogy gives you a trophy for finding ONE treasure. Easiest trophy in any game next to pressing start.

Bladder of Steel from Rock Band 2. Beat the Endless Setlist (84 songs total) without pausing or failing a song. This equates to somewhere between 7 and 8 hours of continuous gameplay.

In Mass Effect 3 (yeah, I loved it enough to 100% it, hate away) So, basically, two separate achievements for doing the same thing. You can get one of them a different way, but if you want to 100% the game, doing it that way is pointless since you'll get it anyway when you go for the other one.
Actually, I think that it's for beating all the side quests as well, not just the story.

Achievement: You have started a new adventure! (or something else along those lines)

You know, that one you get for starting a new game? The only possible way to NOT get that is to never play the game so its the furthest thing from impressive... which I thought achievements were supposed to be?

All online trophies in general.
This, there are only two multiplayer games I've been able to play for more than two seconds, and even then not enough to get these stupid achievements!

Also I remember that Gears of War 1 had an online achieve which was something like "Kill 9000 players" which is just stupid...
Most of the multiplayer achievements in the Gears games are dumb and some aren't worth the trouble. For example, reaching level 100 in multiplayer in Gears 2; unless they have a times 50XP modifier activated it will literally take you forever to get that. I also say to hell with most of the multiplayer achievements in Gears 1 because a majority of the guys who are still playing multiplayer there, for the most part, have been playing it since before Gears 2.

I can't think of any specifically "stupid" ones, but it irks me when they assign a random number of points, i.e. 12 or 27 or something.
I find those annoying as well. I currently have one of those kind of achievements and the achievement that I need to get to even it out might as well be impossible without having a lot of friends who will help you and a possible few hours of game play or a few weeks of game play with randoms and all the luck in the world.

online achievements for a game that has dead severs(The Darkness,Dark Sector and FEAR 2)
I would personally like to add Chromehounds to that list.

Without looking through all of the games that I've played to see what achievements I do and don't have, I'd have to say some of the achievements where you have to beat the game on the hardest difficulty. On some games it's okay, but other are not worth the hours of getting my ass shot, beaten, blown up, zapped, ect. that I would have to endure. Perfect example of that would be CoD games. I hate veteran mode.

There are also achievements like "get some grub" from Half-Life Episode 2 and historian from Bioshock where you have to find all the hidden things and I end up short one or three every time.

personally after the fun I had with achievement in WoW, I got pissed off in general for trophie/achievement, either they are just stupidly easy to get (pratically any bronze trophies on PS3) or take just way too much time that you get pissed off even before completing 25% of it.

some funny one I remember:
Starcraft 2: Win 1000 matchs, with all 3 races and random, overall that about 3000+ matchs to do which if you are good can last 5-7 minutes (including loading), so 300 hours?

Dynasty Warrior 7: get full reputation with all allies, I think I calculated about nearly 150 hours.

overall I don't mind about them but I don't force myself to do any of them because I don't care about showing my superior e-peen to anyone

Surely if you have to do 1000 with random as well, that's 4000 games at 7 minutes a piece. So 470 hours or so. That sucks :\\

I've always hated achievements in games, they're usually pointless and do nothing for the actual game. The worst one I can think of are the flag achievements in the first Assassin's Creed. I liked how the original Mass Effect handled the system. Getting different achievements would actually unlock in-game bonuses for your characters.

First, Borderlands, the Robolution dlc, getting those mother f£!"ing oil cans to drop. Thank god for MINAC being farmable.

On a related note: anything related to hidden collectibles in a sandbox when they don't give you some tool to help locate them.

Secondly, Lost Planet 2. I forget the exact name, but there's a trophy for unlocking all the stuff. "Not so bad" you may say, "lots of games have those", but one of the titles you need to unlock is for being #1 on an all-time, global, leader board. So it wouldn't surprise me if the number of people who have 100% it is stuck in the tripple digits.

I REALLY hate those too.

Or ones that require you too play against a developer of the game, like with Red Dead Redemption.

Really Rockstar, do you know how had that is to accomplish? VERY FREAKING HARD.
That was viral, wasn't it? I'm pretty sure I got it off friends.

I can't think of any right now, but I did just have an idea for a trophy/achievement I would like to see: Reverse trophies/achievements. For example, you'd get the trophy as soon as you started the game, but you loose it as soon as you meet certain conditions. There could be ones where you loose it as soon as you kill an innocent NPC, or when you steal. Instead of getting rewarded for certain things, you'd be getting punished for them instead.
that sounds like an awesome idea. Though it's not much different mechanically than putting a "didn't steal" or "no civs" achievement. So I'm not sure we'll see those quite yet. Maybe I'm wrong. I hope so, because the psychological effect is a bit different. Would be interesting.

the me2 insanity achievement made me want to put a gun to my head and that was on the second. fucking. level.
The inability to kill even a rubbish enemy with a single round as an Infiltrator was silly. Using the second most power sniper rifle (for a single shot) - that is, the most powerful sniper rifle for half of the game, with maxed infiltrator skill (favoring the one shot damage), with miranda in the party (favoring group damage), an an attack from assassination cloak while wearing the + damage to headshot headgear and all + weapon damage armor available wouldn't drop a single enemy in one shot.

By contrast, weapons availble in DLC make the act of playing on insanity trivial. The Geth Shotgun is, by far, the best option for shotgun as it does as much damage as the one found on the collector ship but has a five shot magazine and is useable at a very respectable distance. The heavy rifle's accuracy and damage is such that it is easily possible to kill most enemies in four shots and it fires as fast as you can pull a trigger. Hell, the best armor without question is also hidden behind such a paywall.

The achievement in the base game is worthy. That there are options available to buy your way into easy mode is insane to me. Many not insane. Just icky.
