Uncharted trilogy gives you a trophy for finding ONE treasure. Easiest trophy in any game next to pressing start.
Actually, I think that it's for beating all the side quests as well, not just the story.Arkley said:In Mass Effect 3 (yeah, I loved it enough to 100% it, hate away) So, basically, two separate achievements for doing the same thing. You can get one of them a different way, but if you want to 100% the game, doing it that way is pointless since you'll get it anyway when you go for the other one.
How did the first person get it?? 0.oBloodtrozorx said:Shadowrun Fever: teabag an opponent who already has this achievement.
I lol'd of course but still dumb.
This, there are only two multiplayer games I've been able to play for more than two seconds, and even then not enough to get these stupid achievements!imahobbit4062 said:All online trophies in general.
Most of the multiplayer achievements in the Gears games are dumb and some aren't worth the trouble. For example, reaching level 100 in multiplayer in Gears 2; unless they have a times 50XP modifier activated it will literally take you forever to get that. I also say to hell with most of the multiplayer achievements in Gears 1 because a majority of the guys who are still playing multiplayer there, for the most part, have been playing it since before Gears 2.Lawnmooer said:Also I remember that Gears of War 1 had an online achieve which was something like "Kill 9000 players" which is just stupid...
I find those annoying as well. I currently have one of those kind of achievements and the achievement that I need to get to even it out might as well be impossible without having a lot of friends who will help you and a possible few hours of game play or a few weeks of game play with randoms and all the luck in the world.Fleetfiend said:I can't think of any specifically "stupid" ones, but it irks me when they assign a random number of points, i.e. 12 or 27 or something.
I would personally like to add Chromehounds to that list.ForgottenPr0digy said:online achievements for a game that has dead severs(The Darkness,Dark Sector and FEAR 2)
Surely if you have to do 1000 with random as well, that's 4000 games at 7 minutes a piece. So 470 hours or so. That sucks :\\Siyano said:Starcraft 2: Win 1000 matchs, with all 3 races and random, overall that about 3000+ matchs to do which if you are good can last 5-7 minutes (including loading), so 300 hours?
That was viral, wasn't it? I'm pretty sure I got it off friends.PsychicTaco115 said:I REALLY hate those too.
Or ones that require you too play against a developer of the game, like with Red Dead Redemption.
Really Rockstar, do you know how had that is to accomplish? VERY FREAKING HARD.
that sounds like an awesome idea. Though it's not much different mechanically than putting a "didn't steal" or "no civs" achievement. So I'm not sure we'll see those quite yet. Maybe I'm wrong. I hope so, because the psychological effect is a bit different. Would be interesting.Starik20X6 said:I can't think of any right now, but I did just have an idea for a trophy/achievement I would like to see: Reverse trophies/achievements. For example, you'd get the trophy as soon as you started the game, but you loose it as soon as you meet certain conditions. There could be ones where you loose it as soon as you kill an innocent NPC, or when you steal. Instead of getting rewarded for certain things, you'd be getting punished for them instead.
The inability to kill even a rubbish enemy with a single round as an Infiltrator was silly. Using the second most power sniper rifle (for a single shot) - that is, the most powerful sniper rifle for half of the game, with maxed infiltrator skill (favoring the one shot damage), with miranda in the party (favoring group damage), an an attack from assassination cloak while wearing the + damage to headshot headgear and all + weapon damage armor available wouldn't drop a single enemy in one shot.jaffrosheep said:the me2 insanity achievement made me want to put a gun to my head and that was on the second. fucking. level.
