Stupid Things Your Parents Do

My parents are the assholes of my life. Treating me like shit, favoring my older sister over me. When I cried they never even looked at me, just screaming that I should shut up. Now they want everything to do with me, and it pisses me off to the point of murdering them. My mother wants to spend every second of the day with me, visiting me DURING school periods, always following me/stalking me when I hang out with my friends. Refusing to let me go with my friends to a place so they can talk/scream at me. It's annoying as hell.

My dad is possiably the most bastard ever seen in a human being. Refusing to accept me, screaming at me, calling me shit and expecting me to smile, taking my things for honestly NO good reason. I do mean honestly! For example, all my school work was done, no HW, no tests, nothing. I told him that and said I was going to play Okami for a few minutes. No sooner was I into a boss fight, he came in and ripped my PS2 from the wall. Trashed it, and told me to do my HW. With a donation from my ex-friend, I now have a new PS2. Stupid bastard.

Anyways, my parents are the biggest cuntbags. Stay away from them.

My dad prioritizes money more than anything else, and seems to be extremely annoyed that he's working and I'm not. Also, he's got that computer-illiterate paranoia about Limewire and downloading things, which is annoying because I love using those sorts of programs.

My mom is just a big ball of things that piss me off. She's a chronic victim, if you dos something to make her feel victimized she brings it up constantly, and she's a huge nag.One time she started a fight with me before school, and then refused to give me a ride so i wouldn't be late.

OT: My parents from the age of a year and a half to 2 years have flat out ignore me in my presence. In the 15 years that they have stopped involving me in their lives, I can count the words they have spoken directly to me on one hand, not including my thumb. They still let me stay in their house as is almost obligated by law, however they never talk, or even look at me. As far as they're concerned, I'm just a ghost which happens to have packages delivered to it on a regular basis. Because they have been in my life, I have had to raise myself, and I'm a damn fine person because of it.

And here's is something that I think is rather fucked up. They never called me by my name. I found out that I was named Susan from my aunt at the age of three.

My parents are really stupid in their views on homosexuality. My mother is the type to believe that a person can only turn gay if they've been abused as a child, and they both seem of the opinion that all gays are dirty, unpleasant people.

Where should I start with my parents? They're good people, I love them to death, but my
mom's a dirty hypocrite. She always tells me that I shouldn't worry about what people think of me (I don't...mostly), but god forbid I do something that makes her look like a bad parent, "Evan, you look like a schvatza! Pull up your pants!", or some variation of that. My dad's just a ditz sometimes.

In hindsight, they aren't nearly as bad as some of the other parents I know.

You seem to almost forget we live in a world with people like Josef Fritzl [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josef_Fritzl] and Phillip Craig Garrido [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phillip_Craig_Garrido] exist. What my parents have done (or in this case not) is mere toying compared to the actions of these two.

And yes, it is a miracle I have not turned into a delinquent or a whore.

Pretty much the same here (though my family doesn't use credit cards unless it's an emergency).
I don't really have anything to complain about concerning my parents except that my Mom will at times purposely sing VERY off key. But, it's funny so, no problem still. ^_^

Its hard to describe how bad my parents are because despite how it comes out when I explain it people always brush it off like its not that bad. Okay so here's my go pretty much I decided to live with my mom and sister and my mom's boyfriend full time after split living with both parents due to the fact that my dad always has to be write even when it goes against clear and present logic. For example my dad tried to argue against me that just because scientists in the 70's couldn't find conclusive evidence on a particular subject that they all just gave the fuck up even with technological advancements that have been made. I feel that he's more threatened at the fact that I could easily out smart him while I was in the fifth grade. My mom left him, his girlfriend after that left him, my sister left him, his next girlfriend left him, and then I left him and he still thinks its not his fault and that everyone is just a pathetic person for just leaving a situation that you feel you shouldn't be in.

My mom all though not as bad still gets to me a lot. First off when ever she is having a problem with something that she has even admitted that I knew more about or was better t then her she still blows off my answers or ideas due to the fact I'm seventeen despite the fact that I'm right over 90% of the time. For example today she wanted to check out some information on a hotel she will be staying at in week. So she proceeds to crash fire fox and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working for a few minutes before I informed her that it crashed which she didn't believe. Then after she excepted that it crashed she couldn't get her window to close or a new page to open so instead of listening to me and the knowledge of how to get it back and running very fast she proceeds to ignore me the doesn't believe me when I said she should have force closed all fire fox windows and minimize them despite the thirty second wait till she could open a new window 5 minutes later when she let me do it.

She also lets my sister get away with so much more shit than should be allowed like the fact she takes a shot at the fact I play video games even if she has no clue what the conversation is about or any words in the last sentence said other than addiction and yet yells at me for calling my sister out on all the things she claims to do that I did instead because she refused to fucking do them.

My parent's also question the fact that I want to be an auto mechanic when I graduate high school despite the fact that its the only thing I've actually shown interest in at school and believe I should go to university to spend money on a degree that I doubt will get me a job therefore putting me in debt, Instead of going into a trade that I will find work in and will be getting paid well for.


That's just the recent stuff I'd rather not get into the three years where they completely ignored me caused me to become anti-social question me on why I became anti-social and used me to send mate messages to each other when they split up.

Maybe your Mom is bothered because your dad always thought he was right and you actually are.

Really, my parents are great. I have like. No problems with them. My moms the more reasonable one, and makes most of the choices, and my dad is slightly strict. Although my does bother me about how much I play the computer. I find the outside sorta boring.
