As the title says, what are some of the dumbest things you have done relating to video games?

I'll share. I bought Secret of Mana for my snes a couple of days ago. Then I bought 2 controllers and a multitap for it, so I could play it with 3 people. I come home to today and begin to set it all up, only to realize that I forgot the power adaptor at my friends house. So no old school gaming until then.

Played virtually no other game while I was playing WoW for 3 years. Now I have a list that's a page long with titles that came out the last couple of years that I really want to play through. It keeps getting longer instead of shorter because of all the new releases.

As a more "in-game" stupid act though: I have, more than once, quick saved a fraction of a second before dying. This usually happens when I reach a really hard bit of a game and I quick save every chance I get.

played disgaea 1 with english voices instead of japanese, the damage to my ears is irreparable
played through devil may cry 3 on dante must die mode
thrown a wireless controller, forgetting in my rage that no cord = no rebound

sometimes i misplace my habds on the keyboard in shooters (when i go for a drink or something not out of general retardedness) which often ends with me running sideways and falling to my doom or accidentally throwing a grenade at my feet
