I didn't do anything to my own hair, technically (there's incredibly little you can do with your hair when you're black, anyway). However, one gaming night, my friends got a little playful, jacked my colored pencils and my dice, and did this:

Set fire to it by accident about 9,000 times.
Got blond highlights, dyed it red underneath. The highlights started fading out, it looked awful. The red went ginger and frizzy D:
Dyed it all red and it went ginger after a while >.<
So I cut it and dyed it all brown, I'm thinking about going for some colour again.
And I used to have waist length hair, it was a pain in the arse.

Back in highschool, I fell in with the grunge crowd for about... a month.
In that time I put so many random things in my hair to get it to look... well, grungy, that I'd rather not list them... suffice to say, 99% of them would be condiments of some sort. *shakes head in shame*
As for a friend... back when Vanilla Ice was popular (you know, that entire week), one of my friends got his hair cut exactly like him... Let's just say that he was ridiculed for weeks until it grew in long enough to salvage.
In that time I put so many random things in my hair to get it to look... well, grungy, that I'd rather not list them... suffice to say, 99% of them would be condiments of some sort. *shakes head in shame*

i used to have hair that went about 2/3 the way down my back, but i eventually got it cut because people kept bitching about it being too long, so i gave in. on a plus i got it cut for comic relief and raised £300
i cut it really short in 7th grade... i looked like a guy.and in 8th grade i put pink in (which looked ok but it was before the black and random bright colour look came in... and my hair is naturally black btw)
just after 9th grade in the summer i bleached it and it turned orange and yellow.
in 10th grade it was red.
until feb. it was just black.
then i tried to dye it red again and forgot to bleach the black dye out.
so only my roots (about 4 inches long by then) were bright red and the rest was black.
dyed it brown last month.

hair looks sort of emo because of the dye but it will fade in about 3 weeks.
just perfect for back to school for my final year...

Never anything really stupid, but late in elementary school I tried hair gel on the advice of a friend. It made my hair feel crusty, and this isn't going into taking another friend's advice and slicking it back (think greasers). I can somewhat understand trying hair gel in general, but I still have no idea why I took the advice to slick it back.

I dyed my hair blue. And I spiked it up as well. I realized it was a terrible idea though so I changed it back soon enough.
Only to dye it blue AGAIN two years later.
