Just wondering, what in your opinion the stupidest thread you've ever seen on these forums?

I would have nominated the TMNT thread about Aprils boob size, but it turns out he was criticizing the constant changes to April, slowly lowering her status, and I can sorta respect that.

O MAI GAWD THE SEXISM THREADS! All of them. Just no. The rape threads can die too.

Specifically i'll nominate the one where there was an argument over whether people who like loli anime characters are in fact 100% pedophiles (spelling?) IRL. It came to the point where someone saying "I find X loli character cute" translated into "I find real children sexy and would like to molest the fuck out of them"


It's like arguing that playing Doom makes you a serial killer but more retarded.

I'll going to end before someone takes offense and drags a debate on. Sexuality is a fucking weird thing.

Any thread that compares Escapist contributors while accusing one of copying the other. I simple can't stand it when people deliberately try and start trouble just because they don't appreciate another's work.

Gotta go with the drowning threads, the first one was a fair enough idea, and a few of the parodies were funny, but when we had basically the whole first page of Off Topic, well, drowning in these drowning threads, it was just stupid.

It was funny when you weren't the one he was throwing his feces at, just sayin'.

In all fairness though he did teach me a lot about recognising and dealing with trolls, so I guess I should be thanking him. All his threads were still dumb as all fuck though.

The "Bayonetta 2 on the WiiU" thread was pretty stupid. Not from the comments, although a lot of them were stupid, but mostly from the Article itself where people wanted to punch dolphins in their female parts because Bayonetta 2 was on the WiiU.

Anyone remember that Mythrandia guy and his "Thistledown people remember me, I'm a wizard threads"? Those were the stupidest ones I've seen in my short time here. Though I guess they were stupid in a good way. Hella fun!

There was a point where there were several "what if your significant other was secretly..." threads that were all kinda absurd. I made a thread about Hitler mocking them. I really hated those threads for some reason.
