I consider everyone around me as dumb including myself.Because no-one is really smart only less dumb then others. We are dumb because we are ignorant of future learnings so are they not one and the same?

Nah. Everyone is ignorant in different areas. Stupidity is more bad handling of yourself in areas which you are not ignorant, or remaining ignorant toward thing which you should not be.

I'll put this into a language gamers can understand: think of the difference between intelligence and wisdom in an RPG. To use the analogy that I got from the D&D set I had when I was a kid - you go outside and it's raining. Intelligence tells you that it's raining. Wisdom tells you to go inside, open an umbrella, or get under cover.

my belief in the differnce of the two is that ignorance is the lack of knowing something stupidity is refuse to remove the ignorance, example the person is ignorant if they didint know were something comes from, and stupid that even after being told where they come from and beleive that thats wrong
