I do enjoy a good Philly Cheese Steak.

The hoagie that all that tasty meat deliciousness is in better be nice and fresh otherwise it ruins the whole thing.

A bad sandwich brings bad times man. D:

Cheesesteak, sauce and onions.
Though, Italian hoagie is an acceptable substitute.

But, they must be on an Amaroso's. Nothing else will do.

I love Bánh mì(s?). They're such a good combination of savory, sweet, sour, crunchy, chewy, etc. I usually get it with cold cuts and pâté but occasionally I'll get a grilled meat one.

Turkey and mozzarella with tomato on cinnamon raisin bread. Weird but excellent. Toasted or grilled is even better.

Sloppy Joes are by far the best sandwiches. Sooo delicious. :)

You wouldn't think so as they're not exactly gourmet, but who cares, they're amazing!

Philly cheesesteaks get an honorable mention though. They're awesome as well.

Crab cakes, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on a sub. Sometimes I go with yellow mustard instead of mayo, depending on how I feel that day.

I don't really like Philly cheese steaks because they tend to use cheese whiz.

soft roll bacon & burst egg double decker with tomato sauce, flat sausage, onions and brown, well buttered haggis and tomato sauce chaser + a half pint mug of "builders" tea...possibly two <-- my lunch order for years...although i suspect only a few people will know what i'm on about...
Your missing the tatty scone mate that would make it perfect

Edit: mine is a well fired roll with square sausage, blackpudding, bacon, a runny egg, a tatty scone and some brown sauce

I'm too picky of an eater to eat sandwiches, really...I dislike almost all meats, don't like hardly any vegetables, and can't abide by most sauces/condiments...Toasted bread, miracle whip, turkey, pepper, chili pepper flakes, jalapenos, and habaneros would probably be the most complicated sandwich I can eat.

My GOD this sounds awesome.

I mean, potentially not the healthiest thing on the planet, and maybe could do with some melted cheese if you're going the whole nine yards, but still...

Are we talking fried eggs or egg mayo?

Banh Mi is a good mix. I will stack it against the American burger with mayo and pepper--it makes its own gravy...
Need lunch now.

Cheese whiz?

What the hell kind of person would use fake plastic tasting "cheese" on a perfectly delicious sandwich filled with steak?

Either real cheese or they can stay out of the kitchen.

A nice thick piece of turkey breast, mind you, actual turkey breast, not just slices of deli turkey

Lettuce, tomato, bacon, just a little bit of spicy mayonnaise on ciabatta bread. Maybe a nice slice of colby jack cheese.

Oh dear god I'm in heaven.

Breaded chicken, lettuce, cucumber, balsamic vinegar & a touch of mayo.
You can thank me later.

Plus an honorable mention to pulled pork w/horseraddish sauce & pepperjack.

...and +1 to the no-cheese-whiz-on-cheesesteak thing -blargh!

EDIT: one more courtesy of a woman I used to know - sliced turkey w/ swiss cheese, lettuce, russian dressng & hot peppers.
- she was never a video game fan so I'm pretty sure she won't be posting it here herself.

Cold steak sandwiches. Like, thin, cold cuts of fully-cooked cheap steak. SUPER cheap steak. I'm talking the stuff you have to smother in enough seasoning to make an old boot palatable.

This.

'Whiz' is only served by urchins in south Philly. To get a cheesesteak that is actually good, come out to Roxborough.

Speaking of that, there's this deli in the far away land they call Arizona that only makes Philly Cheese Steaks and they get all their stuff from Philly.

Meat, cheese, and everything. It's really close to my work and I find every excuse I can to eat there.

It's so good. :D
