This may be kind of a random question, but do you or anyone you know actually use the word brah in everyday conversation? Personally I only know one person who actually says it habitually all of the time. I am from Massachusetts, and I was wondering if it is a common thing elsewhere.

Brah?

If that's pronounced how I think it is the only time I use that word is when referring to the fabric and wire implements used to restrain female appendages.

Me and my friend say it sometimes but usually ironically. Also as a vague reference the Scrubs Dwarf.

Nope, I live in Westmeath in the middle of Ireland, so greeting someone is mostly just a guttural grunt.

God I hate that saying. Where I live its all the chavs and the like who describe everything someone does as 'teh crack' they even spell it crack which makes them even more retarded. It was a perfectly normal thing before popularity got a hold of it and beat it into the ground before mugging it of its dignity and wallet.

I live in the UK so it doesn't get used over here really but I think that is out of fear that an angry mob will chase you through the streets baying for your blood.

I've never heard of the term "brah" before.

I sometimes use "lo" "ahoy" "mielope", etc etc...

but never brah.

I say it all the time, dozens of times a day... it's sort of an in-joke between me and my housemates.

Well most I know just say "hey" or "hello" as a greeting or some of us say "howyagoing" all one sound but if your Australian you understand it. And no one is enough of a tryhard to use brah in conversation unless they want people to look at them like they are an idiot.

I only use brah when I'm drunk and talking about bratwurst.

As in:
"Whers mah fookin brahs?" *fall down*
