Can we suggest real people who have played fictional characters from movies (i.e. I want to suggest an actor, but his attacks would be from three of his movies), or does that count?

Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes.

I won't go into details on his moves other than his standard attack is his sword slash combo and picking the enemy from behind will result in a Suplex. Also when he block, it would be like Jedi lightsaber blocking. Lastly one of his taunt moves is his "recharge" move for his bean katanna.

I'd say Korra just for the sake of keeping with the parody. She'd be basically young or toon link. Just have her play like Aang, or if that doesn't suit you, maybe just have adult Aang.

Timmy the Evil would be a welcome sight; it'd be nice if someone actually made a game with Unforgotten Realms in mind *coughcough*where'sthatdamnblogrob*coughcough*.

Dude bro from SMT Nocturne. A lot of people seem to like his design, and it'd be interesting to see other SMT fighters than just in the Persona series.

I wouldn't mind seeing Jarlaxle

At least, this is the best picture I can find. Seriously, whoever drew him for the book covers did a really shit job.
I've no idea exactly what his specials would be, cause just about everything the bastard wears is enchanted. That feathered hat? He can pull the feather out (which regrows back) and toss it down to summon a weird ostrich thing I forgot the name of. The eyepatch? Prevents people n monsters from reading his mind. The rest? I forget off the top of my head, only that he wears quite a bit of jewelry and it only makes noise when he wants it to.

Oh, and bonus picture!

My answer is somewhat bizzare:

MATHIMATICIAN! MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE!
Basically, he takes the concepts and proceeded to TEAR THEM DOWN! ARMED WITH THE LAWS OF PHYSICS AND ABSTRACT IDEAS, THEY WILL TEAR HOLES IN THE FABRIC OF REALITY!

FINAL MOVE: YOU CANNOT COMPREHEND IT'S TRUE FORM!
*Everyone's head explodes when a 4 dimensional monster appears*

I'll go with "Saga" from Saint Seiya because why the hell not.
His special attacks are:
1)Galaxian Explosion: he concentrates his cosmos as to cause a "galaxian explosion" on his enemy 2) "Another Dimension": sends the enemy to another dimension
3) "Genie Fist": Allows him to mind control the opponent by hitting the brain on the right place with the right strength. (Is actually more a hypnosis than mind control)

or in his "zombie revived by Hades" mode:

I'm gonna have to go with my former avatar,
BADASS Special attacks:

Neutral B: PULL OUT A BADASS TORGUE WEAPON AND BLOW SH*T UP!! Pull out and shoot one of three guns, randomly selected when the button is pressed BECAUSE TORGUE DOESN'T WASTE TIME LOOKING FOR THE RIGHT GUN WHEN SH*T NEEDS TO BLOW UP!!. The three possible weapons: the Nukem, which shoots a single bomb that produces a very large explosion on contact with anything, The SWORDSPLOSION!! which shoots a sword which can do impact damage, produces a small explosion after a delay, then does a two stage MIRV effect of more explosions (which are relatively small and weak), and finally a classic TORGUE shotgun, which fires fast moving missiles in a cone pattern that explode after traveling a short distance.

Side B: Punches with a rocket in his hand. If it misses, nothing happens. If it hits, a high damage explosion occurs hitting both Mr. Torgue and the target, as well as anyone else that happens to be in the AOE.

Down B: Pulls out a homing grenade which can be thrown as an item at Torgue's leisure WHICH SHOULD BE THROWN IMMEDIATELY BECAUSE SH*T NEEDS TO BLOW UP! The homing effect goes to a random player, with a small chance of it even turning around and homing back to Torgue.

Up B: TORGUE EXPLODES HIMSELF WITH PURE BADASSITUDE, taking slight damage, launching himself upwards, and inflicting some damage and heavy knockback to those around him.

Final smash: GUITAR SOLO MEEDLY-MIDDLY-MOOAWWWW!! This badass guitar solo lasts about 15 seconds and causes explosions in random places all over the stage. The finale causes a huge, massive damage explosion around Torgue. Unlike for his special b attacks, Torgue is immune to the explosions from this ability.

Edit: Mr. Torgue is from Borderlands 2, for those of you that don't know.

Edit 2: It seems we are including stage themes now, so I found this soundtrack [http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJhiEexUreA_bQdolms_ySubxlQGFiwZ_], which has all the music from the Torgue dlc. Most of the combat soundtracks would work good, but the Badassasaurus theme would be amazing.

Of course, Miracle of Sound has also put up a good song for a Borderlands stage.

Death the kid from soul eater.

Because every fighting game needs a ranged attack spammer. It's the rules.

Special attack: Death cannon. Kid uses soul resonance to transform his dual pistols into massive laser cannons and fires them at the same time at the enemy. Something like Samus Aran's smash attack.

Any real person is fine. Again, they need to be a capable fighter.

Sooo... which of the three characters you've mentioned will be your choice? Everyone's only allowed to make one suggestion.

Can I motion that we change CM Punk's placement from Reality to WWE?

I'd like to pick NumberMan from the Megaman Battle Network series.

I mean, who better to match physical prowess than the ultimate calculator. Also, luck is always on his side.

One of you has to suggest someone else, there's only one person for Travis Touchdown!
Ok since Tizzy worded Travis better than I did, my alternative nomination will be Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (I may aswell be the first person to mention a pony in this thread).

Then I will suggest Simon Pegg... with a Twist!

If you press Down + B, he changes costume corresponding to three different roles he has played: Shaun from Shaun of the Dead, Nicolas Angel from Hot Fuzz and Gary King from The World's End, and his attacks will reflect how he fought in said movies. If in default costume, it's Shaun's Night wear from SOTD, and his attacks reflect a mixture of the three.
(SOTD/Hot Fuzz/World's End)

B = 2nd Record he ever bought/Pistol/Beer Glass (Projectile, akin to Fox McCloud's blaster)
B + Side = Cricket Bat Attack/ Night Stick/ Drunken Punch
B + Up = Cricket Bat Upper/ Bare Fist Upper/ Bar Stool Uppercut (He uses the bar stool like a glove and catapults the attacker in the air)
B + Down (Air) = Pool Cue Smash/ Peace Lilly Strike/ Elbow Drop
Special Move = Fried Gold (Whips out shovel, bigger cricket bat, and large blast from Winchester, not reliable for long distance attacks)/ Greater Good (Equips riot gear, takes less damage, but armor falls off after set amount of hits)/ Sisters of Mercy (Takes drink of alcohol, double damage for 10 - 15 seconds)

How's that for a slice of Fried Gold?

EDIT: Display Image, Doesn't have to be a .gif, but I dig the smile!

Toss up between this or Captain Titus of Space Marine fame. Both being sufficiently badass but in the end you can't beat a girl who can sprout wings and pull blades of light from her wrists.

Tenshi / Tachibana Kanade (Angel Beats!)

Images courtesy of DeviantArt

Neutral B: Hand Sonic: Calls forth a single blade or a pair of blades on each hand. The blades are capable of slicing through steel.

Up B: Distortion: Allows her to deflects bullets and other projectiles away using an invisible shield in front of her.

Down B: Delay: Creates a sort of after-image for close range. It is effective in dodging melee attacks by confusing the enemy into attacking elsewhere.

Side B: Harmonics: Makes a clone of herself which is identical to her and moves in parallel for 3 seconds. Attacks made in this time are duplicated by the clone at 1/2 damage.

Finisher: Tenshi uses her wings to fly up and attack with her Hand Sonics in multiple devastating blows.

From the Touhou Project series: Youmu. Motherf***ing. Konpaku.

Appearance:

Stage: Hakugyokurou Garden

Stage theme:

Able to dash around at lightning speed, striking with two swords and magic. Her phantom is also able to attack from a distance, giving her even more options to throw down.

Tilt attacks and aerials, if the A button is held, cause the phantom to fire a slow-moving projectile at the cost of some damage to Youmu.
Ground tilt: Side for straight forward, down for diagonally forward and up, up for straight up.
Aerial tilt: Side for straight forward, down for straight down, up for straight up.

Neutral B: Medium's Bind
Youmu launches her phantom forward, dealing damage to an opponent and leaving it around them for a few seconds. Until the phantom is recalled after a short time period, the affected player is left vulnerable to Youmu's tilt projectiles.

Side B: Slash of Life and Death
Youmu launches forward and slashes, and is able to repeat the move twice after activation with the correct timing, with variations on alternate tilts (like Marth's Dancing Blade.) If used in the air, the distance traveled can be used for horizontal recovery, but it leaves her vulnerable until she lands.

Down B: Netherworld Reflection Slash
Youmu quickly generates a barrier in front of her that reflects any projectiles that hit it. However, certain things such as lasers are unaffected.

Up B: Crescent Moon Slash
Youmu slashes upward into the air while jumping for an antiair/recovery move. Invincible on startup, but left vulnerable until landing.

Final Smash (if applicable): Empty Perception: "Six Root Cleansing"
To see nothing, hear nothing, smell nothing, taste nothing, feel nothing, think nothing of impurities - to detach oneself from the world.
Youmu steps back and reaches for her sword in a counter pose. If hit with a melee attack, she'll parry before splitting herself into five clones, all of which attack the opponent, then reform into the real Youmu for a descending finish.
