I'm very tempted to jokingly sympathise for that *****, but it's just not possible. Also I'd probably get modwrath'd for trolling.
So yeah, she can have my friend in the avatar <<<OVER THERE<<< shove his electric sword up her ass. Without sedatives.

Its partially his own fault if he still went ahead into surgery.
He still got a small dose, and you have to keep in mind that Fentanyl is much stronger than morphine. He said he remembered someone holding him down, so he probably has a few blanks here and there between falling in and out of consciousness, but overall remembers most of the procedure because of the pain. There was no way he could have declined the procedure in time unless he refused prior to injection. The nurse probably told him he was shit out of luck after administering a partial dose.
We still haven't been told if he was told before or after. I said this in another one of my posts.

AND ANYONE ELSE WHO WANTS TO ARGUE. I'M BRITISH, ITS NEARLY 5 IN THE MORNING. I'M SLEEPING, DO NOT EXPECT A RESPONSE FOR ABOUT 10 HOURS, WHERE YOU WILL PROBABLY BE ASLEEP ALSO
You're not sleeping silly. How did you post that.
Sleep typing is a *****.

Wow. Just...wow.

I think 4 months of jail time would be enough for that nurse to think about what she did.
4 months? I wouldn't object to 40 years

Seriously, who the hell lets themselves go into surgery when not fully prepared.

Edit: It's been edited. I know the nurse is a douchebag, I read the story. I still blame the guy for not questioning, but I don't put all the blame on him.

Better now?
Partially his own fault? do everyone have to know details about aenesthetics when we go to a hospital of course not, we trust hospital for taking care of us when we're sick and helpless, and this is how they treat us? do you even know how many CCs and dosage of every aenesthetics injected to your body? "oh nurse, is this dosage right for me?" Nurse: "yeah yeah whatever, now man up will ya"

It was said that he's screaming and have to be restrained, but the doctors keep continuing the procedure, if I'm the one getting that treatment I will sue both nurse and the hospital for malpractice.

I'm going to have some trouble sleeping tonight.

If I was the man, I would have went to a doctor and said "There's some CRAAAAAAAZY shit going on in here."

On seriousness, I would have asked a doctor about whether or not that was allowed, and tell them what the nurse had said.

This has just deterred me from ever wanting to have surgery or avoiding it in the future.

I personally know this person.

That's weird.

I don't live in Minnesota anymore but yeah. I know her. I feel like I should keep my opinion to myself in this case.

Semi-related story: When I was in labor with my son, the anesthesiologist buggered up my first epidural. He put it in scar tissue in my back instead of in my spine, so I wasn't getting any pain relief. The baby's dad told the nurse several times that I was still hurting, and she told him it was "just pressure from the contractions."

Yeah, pressure from contractions hurt so bad I nearly broke several fingers. Anyway.

My grandmother finally went and got a doctor, and they talked, and he asked if I had any scar tissue in my back. That's when they realized what had happened. I ended up going most of my labor with no pain meds, because there was only one anesthesiologist on duty that day and he was busy. It sucked.

Anyway, sympathy to the mad. It's infuriating when someone tells you you're just being a baby, especially when you know they're wrong. I hope that nurse enjoyed it.

Ok, i'll just respond to the bit that applies to my post.

Yes, yes you should. If you ask, they should tell you, because you have a right to know what they're putting in your body and how much. Purely because you can be allergic to whatever they're putting in.

That's exactly true! I mean, British people are the best, after all.

I'm assuming you were joking around

Oh, wow...that was hard to read. I couldn't imagine going through that. What in the world was that nurse thinking? Well, she wasn't, but good god. Maybe she needs a tub jabbed into her kidneys to see how she likes it.

To the stocks with her. Public humilation is a good way for her to go.

"<nurse's name> is being flogged being a selfish *****"
