Hang on, I've been playing Pokemon for years. What's so great about a HP+19 in a level up?

well the average HP up is 2 or 3 a VERY HIGH HP up is 6 my HP up was 19 unless you use cheats getting more then 6 is very hard and getting 19 is pretty epic.

What did you DO to get that HP though?

I haven't played Pokemon since Red/Blue, but I can never remember being able to influence your levels in such a way. What have the changed?

well EV's are obtained by defeating a pokemon I was fighitn lv 2-4 bidoof which give you 1hp EV and I was holding an item that gives you 4 more HP EV's 20 battles later (100 EV's) I levelled him up and he gained +19 HP.

I googled it, and it seems the max HP gain for one level is 70.

well ther is 1 pokemon which get an AVERAGE of 6HP per level if you get the max of 255EV in one level (for a single stat but the max for a pokemon is 510) and it's characteristic is the highest it can be for increasing the HP stat then you level it up it could get 70HP up but it would properly be only 60 but then the rest of your levels it would be about 4. ALSO POKEMON WAS ALWAYS CRAZY:
turtle with cannons
electric mouse
10 year old goes out into the wilderness by himself and that is the norm
all powerful creatures are trained by 10 year olds
there is a rock with arms and a face (geo dude)
the device used to catch them is also a pokemon (voltorb)
and there is a whore pokemon (ditto)
trust me it's not getting any more crazy just more complicated.

Playing Yahtzee (lol, what a coïncidence) with 3 other players.
Somewhere halfway the game:
- player 1: rolls a yahtzee (All five dice showing the same face)
- next turn: I roll a yahtzee
- next turn: player 2 rolls a yahtzee
- next turn: player 3 fails, combo-breaker

so, 3 yahtzees in a row = epic win

at the end of the game: in total points, player 4 WINS the game

I once took down 12 players in 1 round of CS Office on Counter Strike. I went AFK at the start and came back with my entire team dead and 12 Counter Terrorists still alive. So I channeled my inner Commando Arnold and rushed around killing every last one of them. There were many cries of "HAX" after that.

I survived a massive concussion that I was told should have killed me out right. Apparently, my brain hemorrhaged so extensively that it should have simply fallen apart. Instead, it healed up fine, and I can still breath without a machine.

A doctor recently looked at a new MRI scan and compared it to the one taken after my accident, and told me he wouldn't believe they came from the same person if he hadn't seen it himself.

Epic life saving win.

Okay you win, and when I say "win" the whole topic. I think the only way someone could beat you is if they had the same thing but did it while saving kittens.

Another win (Though not epic): My netbooks OS was killed by a friend, and it didn't come with any OS disc. My roommate lost my XP CD, so i was OS less and without a fix. A friend gave me a Dell specific W7 disk that should not work with anything but its designated PC type.

But apparently my NetBook told the little ***** of a DVD who's boss, and now I'm getting a free W7 Netbook. *****'n.

i play Pokemon competitively and i had a 1hp win because sandstorm killed my opponent but i had a ground type. otherwise i would have to say just some epic fights i have had in halo. a lot of my gaming that i win is pretty much flukes but it doesn't matter because i get so lucky so often. 2 guys after me in halo no problem i just do a sniper ricochet collateral. i have no idea why i just get so lucky in games.

I've really done nothing noteworthy...maybe loudly singing (closer to screaming, some say) some songs by The Lonely Island. While in school. (i.e. I Just Had Sex, Jizzed In My Pants, Dick In A Box, among others) So yeah, I don't think that falls into the epic category, but...yeah.

ummm, i wouldn't have thought of it if you hadn't mentioned tests, but since you did...
way back in high school, i took the AP English exam. on the essay portion, i accidentally double spaced, not realizing it said not to double space. at that point i figured i'd just bombed, but there was nothing i could do about it. but, when i got my results back a month or so later, i found out i was one of three people in our city who got a 5 that year (which is a perfect score, for those who don't know). apparently i lucked out and whoever graded my essay portion wasn't a "Read the Instructions" Nazi.

also, i once climbed a frozen waterfall, and didn't realize it until i got to the top. so, technically, i'm exaggerating to call it a "fall" because it wasn't perpendicular, but it was still fairly steep. and calling it a "frozen waterfall" makes for a much better story

Sweeeeet! I was one of the 3 people in my school to get a 5 on the AP Chem exam, so that was pretty awesome!

A bunch of CS:S related incidents:

Once in cs_office in the pistol round 8 vs 8, I killed all 8 CT's myself while all my teammates died and barely did any damage. It was incredibly hectic, I used about 5 different pistols picking them up from the ground and in the end I had 1 HP. It was crazy. I still have a screenshot from the end of that round.

In de_dust2 as a CT I killed four enemies without seeing any of them. Went to the middle to look between the doors and hunt some terrorists with my AWP, but there was smoke so I couldn't see to the T base. I evaluated and guessed one to the head through the smoke and another one through the door. I saw a glimpse of a few T's going to the CW (short) and moving past CT spawn I heard footsteps above, so as soon as I got near A, I threw a hegrenade to CW and caught two kills (obviously those had been softened by teammates), but it was a fun accomplishment still.

Once in de_piranesi there were only me and one enemy left. We were running around, but when we saw each other, he had the upper hand and upper ground, so I threw a grenade somewhere around where he was and ducked behind a cover. Looking up I saw I had killed him with it and his corpse flew above me in an epic way (for some odd reason I had ragdolls on at the time). It ended up on a CS:S video my friend made.

About a month ago I was playing de_dust2, being on fire and just goofing around really. As a T, I rushed through long with an AWP. I got to the point where you could see half of the CT base. Above, in between A and CW there was a CT, I goofily shot at him without a scope. And it hit. It was the longest noscope kill I've even seen anywhere. That was fun.

One time in cs_office, being a T, there were a few teammates alive, but only one enemy CT and he was obviously hiding somewhere. I went looking for him through CT base towards garage, confidently jumping and waving my deagle from side to side and shooting when my crosshair was in the far side of each swing. I was only trying to get his attention with the gunshot sounds and I didn't think he really was in the garage. But he was and I accidentally shot him waving my deagle around shooting to both sides. That was freaky. I shot him before I saw him really.

I'd probably got a dozen more of these...

I've got one: A friend and I were playing co-op galactic conquest in Battlefront 2. We were on Polis Masa as the Empire and we weren't paying much attention. After a few minutes we looked at the teams, the enemy team had something like 47 men left, we had 2. Not only did we win but some very epic moments happened during the time we fought for that desperate victory. An enemy engineer fired a shotgun blast at me point-blank that should have killed me... and missed. Also they captured our only command post and we managed to retake it at literally the last possible second. Most epic win. EVER.

i didnt even like geography...

Playing a game of worms with my friend, I ended up with horrible worm placement and with a bad shot I accidentally killed 3 of my own worms making it my 1 vs his 4 left. I won.

well I was raising a bastiodon which has about average HP in other words he has 250-300 hp at level 100 on average so getting a +19 for him is pretty epic (my bastiodon has 301 HP and both Defensive stats are above 360).

Playing halo reach Infection, or whatever. All my teammates had been killed and spawned on the other side of the map, and all of the no infected people were still alive and setting their sites on me. I still have the video on my fileshare. I killed two of the attackers, and started going after the other three.
I took a shotgun blast to the chest from my friend, who was not infected yet, and somehow survived with a little health. I went for the kill, and somehow missed him and killed another guy behind him, then he circled around, brought his gun to me, and fired as I slashed. He got the kill, but I was so surprised, after watching all my teammates fall again and again to these guys, that I had stood up to them for that long.
Another story involves the same game, but a different map. My friend, again, was on the defending side, and I was an infected. Right when the round started, I ran forward, jumped down two stories, rolled, and hit him with my sword. Five other players, and he's the one I hit. He was sooo pissed, it was awesome.
