I don't suppose you all chose "Female", did you?

I could be mistaken, but that might be what you did 'wrong'.

Let me know if this was the case; I want to know if I have yet another reason to hate Ubisoft.

So much focus on multiplayer makes me a bit concerned. They seem to have got the balance right in AC:B - single player first and foremost, multiplayer as an extra. Hopefully they can keep the balance and not fuck it up by short-changing the single player for the sake of multiplayer like so many games do these days.
Finally, another person who understands what makes a good game good.

Just answer that you're from the UK (thats what I did. I assume you're from the US like me?)
Seems pretty cool, it 'd be nice if they include alot of that stuff

Nope. Didn't meet the demographic and I'm positive I'm a male. Probably the site, not Ubisoft.

Wasn't allowed to take the survey...
Oh well, based on what was copy pasted here, this is what I want to see in AC3;

2) An enhanced Eagle Vision: see the patrol paths of guards, spot clues to complex navigation puzzles, detect when characters are lying during interrogations, etc.
5) An additional objective where you and your Assassins guild fight against the Templars to gain control of a city, district by district
6) Playing as a new Assassin, in a different historical time period

I despise multiplayer, so I hope they will leave that out. It messes up my platinum trophies. :<

Suggestion for alternate title: Assassin's Creed Survey Hints at the Obvious.

I mean, given the pedigree the franchise has, I wouldn't be surprised for it to remain awesome.

"4) Tactical use of a variety of bombs suited to unique contexts and situations (smoke, poison, flash, explosive, etc.)"

This never works out... What is the real difference between poison and explosive for example?
They still die either way. And flash and smoke also have the same goal?

Example; who used the poison attack in AC2?
I did, it was quite fun actually. Nothing like walking past a guard, poisoning him, and walking away. Then watching from a high place as he starts flailing about, hurting any guards/people around him. At the end falling over and dying.

Great point.

I really hope people go for a new setting and character rather than keep grinding out Ezio. To me that's what holds Brotherhood back.

Coop could work, though.

But, really, you make these choices via popular survey and you end up burning out. People are not paid to design games for a reason: they suck at it. This is the moment where choices must be driven by the artistry and vision of a good director, not by design by committee techniques.
I actually found poison usefull in Brotherhood when using darts and especially when on the war machine missions. Guards seem to notice the crossbow more.

As for a new character.... well. It's not that I have a problem with going away from Ezio and the Renaissance (unless this Brotherhood and the next one are like episodes and then a last game after them), but the developers may face a problem. Guns. They appeared in the renaissance as new tech, but then they became better and more popular. So what is Ubisoft gonna do. Make everyone including Ezio use guns as a primary? Then it's a third person shooter. Make the guards only have guns and make the range weapons helpful gadgets? Maybe, but then there wouldn't be much hand-to-hand combat and the game would seem like an Arkham Asylum stealth section. Make barely anyone use guns to keep it kinda the same? It would work but the game would seem way too impractical. idk, I just hope Ubisoft gets it right.

This is interesting stuff but I think the co op feature needs more push than the multiplayer feature. The things I can only imagine you could do with 2-4 players in co op would be astounding. Random events that occur in this game are amazing experiences to share between friends. This is the case with almost every open world game and yet it's the least explored.

Co-op could be good as long as it's balanced.

"You are Ezio. Leader of the Assassins. Dealer of swift justice and liberator of man. You? You're Tim, here's a knife. Try and keep up."
Bwahahahah, oh I lul'd so hard, that would be hilarious.

1, 2, 5 and 6. The Rest is superfluous...

Edit: Oh...and the new time period would be French Revolution.
100% agree with the French Revolution, I've been thinking about it for awhile. It was such a crazy time period, especially if the back half of the game moved you into the Terror, with people getting guillotined left right and center. I think there's a lot to mine with canon history; throw in wacky Templar shenanigans and the conspiracies pretty much build themselves.

As for the survey, basically just 6 and possibly 2; the ability to tell when someone is lying could be interesting if it was incorporated properly.

i think brotherhood had simply too much stuff... why did you need the poison darts when you could just use the crossbow. also, why use any other weapon, like the hidden blade? in asscreed 1 it was all you had, which made it a lot more interesting. in any case, less is more.

I want all of these features!
Except the two that conflict about time periods and main characters. I'll let the devs flip a coin about those.

Seconded, I wanted to vote for the eagle vision...

OT: Well as I've said, as long as they don't over work the franchise, it should stay amazing.
