Louis wipes the blade clean with his shirt and closes it. He slips it back in his right pocket.
He walks back to the bathroom and rinses the blood off his hand with icy cold water. He grabs a hand towel and lets it soak under the faucet. He wrings it out and wraps it around his hand, applying pressure for about twenty minutes.
That should stop the bleeding.
He goes back to his room and looks at the canvas.
"I'm missing something."
He thinks back to the card.
"... It can't be that simple."
