Haha, I was just thinking this. The game (in my opinion) looks quite bad, these trailers really don't do much, yeah they look cool and they're nice to watch, but it's not like it convinces me in any way to give them money. Yeah, they make some really nice videos, and the smuggler has a sweet hat. I'm in favour of them making a few CGI animated movies instead of a game.

And that's not counting the class progression and reveal trailers either, that give even more pure gameplay!
But hey...don't let that stop the crying this community loves so much. I think I hear comments of 'how the graphics suck' incoming next, regardless of the fact that once ingame no one will give a shit so long as the aesthetics are consistent (which they are immensely).
Looks like they didn't ever watch those Red Letter Media reviews, which would have listed out exactly how to make a good Star Wars film...
Ok, so since when did Sith = Empire? I'm a child of the originals, and in those, the Empire was separate to the Sith. The fact that the Emperor was one seemed to be just because he was the big bad guy. We even showed disdain for the lightsaber, referring to one as a Jedi's tool, as though he wasn't one, nor used one.
Why is the technology not vastly different to the films?
Why have they packed in double edged lightsabers (he asks, knowing the answer)?
Ugh. Yeah, visually it's gorgeous, but it's not like they're short of money. The storyline is dull... how could the original three films have three different stories, and yet everything since is so formulaic?
Final bugbear, it's not game footage! The game looks to be awesome, I wanna see that! Save these for in game story...

Shout outs to the movies are one thing, but it just feels utterly unimaginative and unambitious.

I honestly think these little cinematic's for SWTOR actually have better combat scenes than the actual films.
I believe that smuggler might've been smuggling cheese instead.
