Haha, I was just thinking this. The game (in my opinion) looks quite bad, these trailers really don't do much, yeah they look cool and they're nice to watch, but it's not like it convinces me in any way to give them money. If they made a film though I'd probably go see it.Nimcha said:I'm actually thinking I wouldn't mind if they scrap this game and use the money to create a few movies in this style.![]()
Maybe this'd hold merit with SWTOR if they hadn't released two other trailers before this one that consisted of NOTHING BUT gameplay footage:j-e-f-f-e-r-s said:Y'know, in this day and age, I don't find cinematic trailers all that impressive anymore. Back in the PS1 days, when there was still a novelty to it, they were cool. Now though, everyone and his dog is releasing them, and they are totally, utterly unrepresentative of actual gameplay.
Some one well need to push Lucas's fat ass out of the chair.Nimcha said:Yeah this is simply amazing...

Seriously though, I need more gameplay footage!

You seem to have no understanding of the universe at all. I would suggest playing the KOTOR games to get a better understanding of it all before complaining.Verlander said:Looks like they didn't ever watch those Red Letter Media reviews, which would have listed out exactly how to make a good Star Wars film...
Ok, so since when did Sith = Empire? I'm a child of the originals, and in those, the Empire was separate to the Sith. The fact that the Emperor was one seemed to be just because he was the big bad guy. We even showed disdain for the lightsaber, referring to one as a Jedi's tool, as though he wasn't one, nor used one.
Why is the technology not vastly different to the films?
Why have they packed in double edged lightsabers (he asks, knowing the answer)?
Ugh. Yeah, visually it's gorgeous, but it's not like they're short of money. The storyline is dull... how could the original three films have three different stories, and yet everything since is so formulaic?
Final bugbear, it's not game footage! The game looks to be awesome, I wanna see that! Save these for in game story...
I'll give it this though, the trailer is far better than the prequels. All of them
This is 3500 years before the movies... when the Sith were the Empire. It's literally the Sith race.Verlander said:Ok, so since when did Sith = Empire?
