Lost, 5 episodes away from series finale. No, there is no way they can redeem all the bullshit from the whole series in 5 episodes. Sorry, busy watching South Park reruns for the 6th time.

Dragon Ball Z. i was into it when i was a kid but i noticed that every season "or saga" was just the same premis over and over again. We defeated a villian who can destroy the universe with a thought, but now heres an even more powerful villian that we have to fight. And the show is padded to shit. there are whole episodes that are nothing but the main character charging up an attack while everyone watches him and comments...yeah even a show about characters that can fart atomic explosions gets boring if theirs no substance.
Well, the series was supposed to end at what is the best point of the series: the fight between Goku and Frieza. Afterwards, it is kinda just filler though the Cell Saga was quite good. The whole Buu thing was just stupid though. That is the point where the series is just getting shitty and we all only watch because it is DBZ DAMNIT ._.

Also, I have seen every episode :/

I gave up on Flash Forward after about 5 episodes, I tried to like it, I really did, it just never caught my interest.

Rescue Me, my roommate and I bought the first two seasons and we watched them in 2 sittings. He bought Season 3 and started watching it, but I never bothered to catch up with him. A shame because I LOVE Dennis Leary.

30 Rock. GREAT show, probably one of the funniest on TV, but same with Rescue Me I just got behind and never bothered to catch back up.

Cowboy Bebop - It's so clearly about foreign relations and international issues in our real time that it takes away from the show. I dont want to watch an space traveling bounty hunter to hear about the whale hunter tv show turned into some strange mole rat fiasco.. I'm blowing it out of proportion to the point where im making mistakes describing it but basically, the writers did a pretty bad job at hiding the source for their materials in a "fantasy" show.

Doctor Who - Fuck off Matt Smith (and The Moff's appoach to the character in general is miles away from mine.

Caprica. I adore BSG with all my heart and soul and just started on a watch thru of all seasons. I would bleed for that show. Caprica left me cold and indifferent (sorry TV producers, the antics of teeny twerps don't interest me one bit.)

Lost. I thought from the second season that while they had some nice ideas going on there were going to write themselves in to one big fat hole that would be cheezy to get out of.

Dexter.

I loathe season 2 simply because it was doing the usual bullshit of adding a romantic plot to a series about something completely different - a fucking serial killer. I watch the show cause I want to see the dude be smart about how he plans and kills each victim. Plus, the constant battle of wits between him and other members of the police in season 1 was awesome. But no, season 2 was like - "Hmmmm, what's a cheap way of increasing the number of viewers? Oh I know, more drama!!"
Oh god, this a thousand times over.

"You have to take care of our BABY DEXTER!!!!"

ARRRGGH! Season 2 of that show is basically any T.V. drama except the main character kills a random person every other episode, which is a shame because season 1 was nothing short of brilliant.

I used to love boondocks. I thought it was great. It seemed thoughtful and intelligent like it was trying to give a real commentary on our enviorment as a whole and perhaps persuade things to change a bit. And for a bit there I likened myself to huey. He felt like a smart kid surrounded by a mass of people who were lost in there own ignorance. But as the show went on the character was just consisently cynical and sometimes unreasonably so. And everyone besides him didn't change either they were all massive sterotypes and even normal people who weren't stereotypes were stereotypes for comedic effect.

The part that burns me is that if the show was mindless I could deal with that. Cause it is funny at many moments. But the show from the start and especially during the comics seemed to imply it was more than cheap gags and one dimensional characters. Turns out I was wrong. It's no better than most things on BET. Perhaps worse because it's the same and yet intends to be arrogant and mock and critize it's equals.

I gave up on The Simpsons and Family Guy a long time ago (the simpsons moreso). For the simpsons I just stopped watching because they just don't have the gag writers using any subtlty or realism anymore, it's just overly a bit retarded, not like the old seasons, where the comedy came from the small nuances of the characters and really clever writing.

Desperate Housewives, House, Grey's Anatomy, Lost... All of them after one season (except House, which held my interest for two).

The Simpsons has heavily stagnated as well. It lost its spark (in my opinion) after Season 11 or 12. Mind you, the movie is one of the funniest films I've ever seen.

Heroes. I missed a couple of episodes, and didn't really care.

Now, the only thing I watch consecutively is Doctor Who. Fortunately, It's still pretty good.

- V, for reasons unknown. I just stopped watching it, maybe I'll pick it up again later.
- Naruto. It just keeps going on and on and on and on and on, it just wore me out.
- Heroes. Started out well, quickly grew stale and over-complicated.
- Lost. Same as above.

I gave up on Battlestar Galactica after about 15 minutes. The sophmoric crew and nauseatingly nerdy deathbot chick were just too tacky and uninteresting to bear.
That's the great thing about Battlestar: character development. Of course the crew starts out as a happy-go-lucky bunch, they've never been in a war. But how they change during the course of the show is remarkable well done. As for the robo-chick...well, yeah that ís fan-service I'll give you that.

You shouldn't dismiss it on the first 15 minutes though, that doesn't show what the show is all about.

I'm gonna go with "all of them." I sold my TV in 2006 and the only thing I miss watching is live sports---ESPN3.com is only good for so much.
Weeeell The Big Three (Discovery Channel, National Geographic and Animal Planet) still broadcast some good stuff from time to time, even though they too are slowly tainted by some common TV problems. Especially DC is heavy on the stupid reality crap nowadays. Damned shame, I remember when they focussed on brilliant shows like Time Team...good times. *sniff*

That's a shame.

I'm sticking through even SG:U, unlike most of the world. But Atlantis is by far the pinnacle of the Stargate series, barring maybe the first few seasons of SG1 at a push.

Season one of Stargate: Atlantis is some of the best TV I've ever watched, hands down.
I couldn't get into Atlantis for the same reason. If I can't connect with the characters (not saying relate, that's another matter entirely) I don't really care about it. Atlantis had that problem, SG1 really spoiled me.

As for SG:U, for some reason I stick through that too. I don't know why as it's truly awful. The characters are awful, the shovelled-in space drama is awful, it's all awful. Yet I keep watching...

42 episodes in I gave up on Naruto, and Anime all together. Enough with the fucking fillers!

Flash Forward, Lost, Prison Break (but that is only because the totally fucked up the air times in Aus, So I stopped caring) and Ultimate Force.

Fuck you Earth, Why did you not all watch this epic show? It's because of low viewings they had to kill off the major characters.

I'm on Season 3 right now (Watching online, Of Course) and they just killed off 3 if the best characters and told one to fuck off.
Not all anime is plagued by filler, but I would comment that the anime that receives typically universal acclaim has a definite start and end lined out before they set out to make it, and typically ends in either 20ish or 50ish episodes.

On topic though? I gave up on TV in general a while ago.

Big Bang Theory, I just couldn't deal with the way they portray geeks etc.

We're all apparently socially awkward and have an "Illness".
