Hmm...I'd have to say three of my favorite parts were:

when you first meet a Big Daddy, who promptly kills-and rekills, and rekills- a Splicer.
the Medical Pavilion with...charming Dr. Steinman. "Look at you! HIDEOUS!"
and the Little Sister orphanage. I so wanted to see Tenebaum's face, but...o well. i'll settle for the mysterious smoking silhouette.

But really, every minute of it was bliss; the setting was so artistically, destructively beautiful and eye-pleasing. Plus the music makes the game, I think.

Number thirteen? Wow, I did not expect that. Turns out I know it better than I thought.

Favorite part of Bioshock: Sander Cohen. That guy's just so batshit insane, the fact that he's not trying to kill you, unlike everyone else in Rapture, makes him even scarier.

Solid gameplay? The mechanics were terrible. The atmosphere was the only redeeming quality.
I disagree. Not innovative, certainly, and not awe-inspiring, but definitely solid.

I think we can all agree that the game's final chapter is complete crap, though. Escort mission into piss-weak final boss? Yick.
Solid my ass. The plasmids have less stopping power than an airsoft gun, yet somehow require a nuclear fission reactor to use. This takes away alot of the atmosphere since it takes away any incentive you have to attack big daddies (except of course where the game decides to be an even bigger dick and force you to). Many enemies that are clearly basic infantry can take several clips of machine gun ammo before dieing, and that's the anti-personnel rounds. The heads of splicers are apperently non-corporeal since shots go right through them without any ill effects. Of course, none of this would bother me if it wasn't for the parts that stole your guns and the fact that the game doesn't even supply you with enough ammo to, how did Yathzee put it? Oh yeah, "worry half a scout troop." Do you know how difficult it is to be forced to beat an elite bouncer to death with a wrench? I'm amazed Rapture could have a civil war considering a three man squad would require more ammo than what it had at its height.
Huh. I didn't encounter any of those issues, especially not once I got anti-personnel rounds. And the electroshock plasmid did me just fine, as did the insect swarm and the incinerate. Don't think I bothered with the ice one all that much, though, as you had to power that up very high for it to really be effective.
Did you play it on medium?
Yep, sure did. 360 version, though I'm not sure whether that matters or not.
Yeah, I know, this is late. How did you get any use out of the electroshock plasmid? All it did was stun enimies without doing any damage, which is useful when I'm fighting one guy, but not so much when I'm fighting 12 which leaves 11 still shooting at me, which is all the time. Actually, I couldn't find a use for any plasmids. apparently being on fire or swarmed by bees is not very painful considering my enemies seem to ignore it and keep shooting me. They also do about 1/20 of my opponents health if they let it keep going until it goes out on its own. Also, even with the highest health mods, basic infantry still had more health than me.
