Everyone's met at least ONE douchebag while playing. The try-hard. The franchise snob. The neckbeard. The hacker, the griefer, the n00b-t00ber, the racist, the quickscoper, the butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker; DOUCHEBAGS. So feel free to share tales of your encounters with douchebags while gaming.

My most recent encounter:

Whilst playing Team Fortress 2, I went onto a server I frequent. Already there was one of the regulars; a kid. He was actually tolerable, as he was polite for the most part, even if he DID talk a bit much. However, he has a speech impediment. So this ass rolls in and starts asking him if he's autistic. A few other assholes join in, to the point where they make claims that autistic people ARE people... just, "not so much" (I'm dead serious). I try to intervene, telling the kid not to feed the trolls and that autistic=/=unintelligent. The main ass doesn't believe me. So I call my admin buddy who swings in and permabans most of em. A few minutes go by, and then they return, the main ass and one *****; THEY HAD SEVERAL SIDE ACCOUNTS (ie. they spent at least $60 each on two copies of TF2). So my admin friend returns (after I explain the situation), they get scared off, and everything is generally happy. suffice to say, these dicks pissed me off ROYAL.

General dickishness I've seen in a lot of games.

I had to deal with a pair of fucking douchebag griefers (Referred to from hear on out as FDGs) when playing online in Left 4 Dead. One of the twats tried to kick the other one and disrupt the game, I voted against kicking him and then they turned on me at the end of the level because I was apparently the one that initiated the boot screen.

My experience with the FDGs was so bad that it soured my taste for Left 4 Dead and I stopped playing it.

I've also dealt with the typical annoying kids in Halo and the stoners. I just mute their dumb asses though.

I just encountered a hacker the other day in Team Fortress 2. He was speedhacking, aimbotting, and generally just making the game unplayable.
As for more general stuff, I absolutely hate people who play Battlefield:BC2 and do nothing but fire anti-tank weaponry at people. I might take a shot at someone with an RPG if I'm out of ammo and desperate, but some people make it their only strategy.

Playing L4D at my mates, Some dude shot me (in the safehouse) a bit so i shot him back a bit, he then pulls out a shotgun and shoots me, cue all the other dickheads there opening fire on me, reviving when i was dead then killing me again until i was out of revivals, then i got kicked from the game.

Was playing Rainbow Six Vegas on Terrorist Hunt with my friend the other day, and I left it as a public game. Eventually someone joins, which turns out to be some 12 year old CoD basher.

'Hey dudes follow me, I done all the CoD games on Veteran so I know what I'm doing'
Naturally me and my friend ignored him and went a different way and he got his head blown off by a Spas 12.
This kid then literally flips out and starts going crazy and calls me all kinds of crazy stuff. I laughed before swiftly booting him out of the game.

There are way too many to remember the details, but here it goes:

On AC Brotherhood I had some guy stalking me on manhunt who kept bumping into me to give away my position when we were being hunted (Got me killed a few times, but got mainly himself killed). Then when we were hunting, he would kill who ever I locked onto. Got him to step off by locking on to the wrong people intentionally.

In Black Ops last night, everyone camped so a total of 5 people died (I had 4 kills and 1 death)

But here is a general list:

-Noob-Tubers
-Team Killers (Intentional)
-People that talk too much (had one kid singing Bon Jovi's 'You give love a bad name' all round, I shit you not)
-Jackals (You know, those who stalk you and let you do all the hard work then steal your kills)
-Campers. Not usually a problem, but about 75% of players do it on Black Ops (I'm probably seriously underestimating the amount)
-Trash Talkers
-Kids with high pitched squeaky voices shouting in the mike and throwing temper tantrums

Noob-Tubes are no talent weapons that take the fun out of the game and cheapen the experience. If you disagree, give it a shot. Otherwise don't talk about something you didn't experience. You'll complain when it happens to you too.

I think the point is people feel a grenade that explodes without giving you a chance to run away is unfair. Much like a one hit kill knife, barely visible mines or those things that can kill you in like a second from huge distances...um bullets I think they're called.

Yeah, but with a knife you got to get close giving you a disadvantage. Bullets on the other hand don't do one hit kill splash damage.

And I said I don't play these type of games, not that I hadn't before. Don't you dare tell me what I can and can't talk about.

I'm not one of those feminist "I'm a girl gamer deal with it types" i just want to get on and enjoy video games without grief. Mostly i'll be chatting with my clan-mates and others will hear, or one of said clan-mates gives the game away by accident through banter.

the most annoying instance i can think about is Red Dead Multiplayer. i'be lost count of times i went to do a gang lair and got sniped in the head by arsholes when i'm trying to earn points or do it without incurring death subtractions.

Meanwhile, i'll happily go around with my AK74u with grenade launcher, rpg, claymore, frag, concussion, ghost, slight of hand, second chance pro class, while using RC-XD, napalm strike and valkyrie rockets.

And S&D I get the occasional clutch/ good game but the chat near me is nothing but fucking racists, bigots, and morons. I usually play with a party so it's the other team, and they are just the most ignorant bastards.
