Borderlands - People who just keep shooting explosive weapons at you.
I actually do that but its because I got the Medic ability on my soldier. So it heals the teammates.

I remember playing Halo Reach and getting matched in a team slayer game with a group of generals on the other team and mine. or atleast near generals. I was such a low rank and only managed to get one kill the whole match while they verbally assualted me for doing bad. AFter that I left the lobby and got a message 5 minutes later from one of my teamates then which said " Go kill yourself nubcake " Yeah. Not the nicest bunch.

So I was playing Call of Duty 4 with my friend Carmen. Some 10th Prestige level 50 comes into the game and starts talking shit about him because his name is gender neutral (Meaning it's a boy and a girl name). He sounded like he was some 40 year old dude, but he had a voice changer. We found this out because his mom was yelling at him. We then became the D-bags,started talking shit, and he started crying and left the game. True story...

I love how everyone's saying "noob-toobers" and such.

Using features implemented in the game != Being a douchebag.
I don't even play these games and even I can see how stupid that is. Just because they manage to kill you in the game doesn't make them bad people.
If you'd ever played MW2 you'd understand, far too many games are just eight out of ten people firing grenades at people, it makes the game unplayable on smaller maps, not quite as bad on the larger ones, though still really annoying.

Anyone who runs into battle with their grenade launcher or rocket launcher out is a douchebag. You have bullets. USE THEM.
YOU HAVE GRENADES OR ROCKETS, USE THEM.

No reason not to.

Some dickhead who, for about 2 weeks, would constantly stalk me in Red Dead Redemption's online. Any time I died in that game, it was always him with a fucking sniper rifle. I swear he didn't even bother with any in-game stuff, he just spent his time hunting me like an animal.
John Marston would be proud.

OT: Teabaggers, teamkillers, the usual really. Also I'm sure that there's an equation somewhere that proves that people who can't fly the Battlefield games' planes and helis always spawn nearest to them.

But about the noob tubing I ask this question. When I play GoldenEye and I have a gun with a grenade launcher. Is it considered tubing when the person I tried to kill the person who ran around a corner and I use the splash damage of the grenade to kill them to avoid getting myself killed?

....................whu?

I'm sorry, I'm having trouble untangling this scenario.

Nothing big but worth telling. Playing online Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing, I joined a group that had six people in its lobby. I chose to play as Sonic cause he's the character I've gotten used to. Five seconds later, the host kicks me off. I thought 'fair enough he might have raced and lost against me before', so I go back to the same lobby to see that the host has chosen to play as Sonic. I understand wanting to play as a character you like, but to kick someone off so you can play as them is really immature.

Are you sure it wasn't someone you pissed off in real life that also had the game? That honestly sounds like something I might do to someone who pissed me off outside of a game.

For me it would back when C&C 3 first came out, it's the last time I played any game online with people that I don't personally know. I got into a random match with this guy that had watched the DVD that you got with your pre-order that had some multi-player strategies on it.

One of them involved building a crane so you could keep making buildings, then packing your con-yard and driving it into your opponent's base and deploying it, where you would then deploy the War Factory you had queued up and start cranking out tanks in their base.

This guy tried this tactic on me only he forgot the Crane, and waited until we'd been playing for about 10 minuets. When his MCV rolled across the bridge into my base it was instantly attacked by all the turrets I'd built around the bridge and destroyed. After that I rolled my tanks into his mostly undefended base and crushed him. When the match was over it allowed us to rate each other on skill and sportsmanship. He apparently didn't think I was very sportsmanlike and gave me the lowest rating.

I'm still not sure why, there was no chat exchanged or anything the entire game. The only thing I can figure is that he was just a sore loser.

I like to teamkill campers in games like Black Ops or MW2 just to get a rise out of them and most of the time it is quite hilarious.
I hate thoose intentional team killering douchebags. When I get into a tacticly-viable position, the kill me and think it's hilarious. They just ruin the game for me.

I did something like this once on Black Ops Splitscreen multiplayer. My friend and I were playing nuketown, and I just camped in the stairways in the houses, and shot anyone coming through the front door. He was watching the back door. I got a K:D of about 21, and he got maybe 3. I know, camping.

Ok let me try to be more clear let's say I saw a guy and I didn't kill him and he ran around a corner. Would it be noob tubing to kill him with the splash damage of the grenade if I shot it off the wall or the ground near him? If only to avoid getting myself killed?

Bad Company 2's heli whores, seriously I just quit any match that shows a helicopter circle-strafing the starting base endlessly firing rockets. You cannot do anything about it, the AA weapons are taken out immediately, tracers have an annoying habit to just bounce off the heli, and the rocket is to slow to hit when it's circling at a million miles per hour.

I was playing cod4 a while ago and I kill this other player primarily because he was lagging. A few minutes later he gets on his mic and it is a kid. So then he starts calling me Jewish as an insult so I start laughing at him. Eventually he shouts "ah screw this you are all probably Jewish anyway" then he leaves the match and I have to wait for more people to join.

No, I don't think so. I don't believe in the whole 'noob tubing' complaint anyway, so fire away!

I know the gamertags of all my 360-using friends, and I don't make a point of divulging my gamertag to people I hate or that hate me. so the chances of this are slim.

it was just some random dude. Eventually we ended up having a contest about it. One of us would kill the other, then the victim would hunt the killer down until one of them died, and so on and so on. It became quite good fun. Killing him with a cannon was the highlight. That or managing to run up behind him and get him with TNT while he was scoped with his sniper rifle.

But for the time before I turned it into a sport, it was VERY annoying to be endlessly hunted by some random douche

The ragers at League of Legends can be pretty annoying... Fortunately I have learned to ignore them. Although sometimes, when I'm in the mood, I might troll them a bit. They are ridiculously easy to troll.
I can deal with ragers, it's the rage quitters I have a problem with.

Or the idiots who start a game and 15 minutes in are like "g2g bye" and then quit. If you don't have the time for a match don't start one. I personally make sure I've got at least an hour to play when I start a match.

Then there's the people who just intentionally feed the other team because someone took the character they wanted to play. GAH

lol don't know if this counts or not. I personally think this is more of an epic win then a douche move but it still is quite dick-ish.

DnD- Evil boss guy has my Sorcerer held up by the collar with a sword in his hand. he says to me "Any last words before me and my men gut you and your friends here?"
"Yes actually, i do have a few last words... I CAST FLARE MOTHERF@#$AHHHH!!!"
everything goes white, evil dudes are blind, friends psion blows all they're heads up with daily power. While they have the combined IQ of a rock we start bombing AOE all over the board and laugh as our DM stares mindlessly into his laptop screen. First thing he says after we finish the encounter he toke 4 hours to come up with ."I hate all of you..."

I've had something like that happen, but it wasn't over 2 weeks. More like a session.

It was in the Tall Trees, and after a few deaths I started fighting back.

Honestly I was having quite a bit of fun.
