Taste-testing a game cartridge...

I know I've yet to see everything, but I don't want to see any more.

You know, this whole hilarious thing has caused me to start thinking adults aren't that smarter than kids. I mean, they make the carts taste bad so that kids don't put them in their mouths, and because of that adults start doing it on purpose.

This is why I don't do drugs. If I were high, I'd probably do it myself, but now I can just watch other people be weird.

Well, the cartridges are so small that Nintendo had to do something to avoid a lawsuit against all of the children that will put that on their mouths and start choking on it.

When your products are children-under-3-proof because you're going for that demographic I guess.

everyones curious about how bad the game cartridges actually taste now because apparently Nintendo intentionally made them all taste terrible so it would help stop young kids from trying to eat and swallow the games

Tastes like the dregs of beer in a glass that has been used for an ash tray.

They're also made to be durable in case those same children-under-3 drop them. There are many things about Nintendo I don't like, but I've never had reason to complain about their build quality.

Of course, only the OG Game Boy can lay claim to being made of Nintendium.

They put a bittering agent on the labels of the cartridges to keep people from eating them. Doesn't stop people from making clickbaity ass youtube videos and articles though.

Let me know when people start shoving them up their ass.

Again, it's very common to give toys and toy parts a disgusting taste to sway young kids ("under 3") from eating them.

Well, more putting them in their mouth at all, but mostly the same thing. Most kids just like to bite and suck on small stuff, not actually swallow it, but that can easily lead to accidental swallowing.

the GBA was quite literally indestructible with the distinct exception of the hinge on its battery cover.
