what I can;t stand is when people go "hurr hurr itl look bad when you 50"

Well, apart from that it will look bad by the time you're 50 (depending on the age you are now), there's also the fact that a tattoo is permanent but you're current mentallity isn't. The way you feel about things now will most likely be drastically different in 10 to 20 years from now. That's why it isn't the best idea to get a tattoo of something you're a huge fan of.

I'm not a fan of tattoos, or should I say I'm not a fan of the whole mentallity "That's cool; Imma get a tattoo of that". Unless you're part of some ancient tribe or the yakuza, I don't really see the point of it.

On topic, it generally despise tattoos. This one girl I was thinking of dating decided to go get a tramp stamp. When she told me she liked me, I said no. I was very honest with her too. I can't stand women with tattoos.

I intend to get more, but I'm thinking over my choices right now.
I've never understood the hate for tattoos. If they mean something to the person getting them, you have no right to judge. All of mine are a part of who I am and I made the decision to get them as reaffirmation to myself. Every day I intend to be able to look in the mirror and hold on to the resolve I set. When I'm older, I hope I don't regret these choices. I certainly don't plan to.

I'm considering getting one. I designed one of them, but I'm still not sure what I'll get in the end. All I know is I don't want it to be too big, or too slutty, and that I want to design it.

I really, really love Magneto.

Other ideas were Mjolnir, using the design from the Thor comics, the ONI symbol from Halo, or the Hero Seal from Fable. I just want a nerdy tattoo.

One: A tribal design on my right bicep.
Two: A Star around my elbow.
Three: A poorly done Heartagram on my right shoulder (Drunken night)
Four: A smiley face on my chest. (Again, drunk)
Five: The Batman Arkham city symbol on my left shoulder. (Not drunk, but covering up a drunk one).


I want a third, possibly a Pokemon somewhere. But who, where, and why. I do not know.

From Dragon Ball Z, King Kai's symbol. It represents the overwhelming strength Goku gained from training with King Kai, which he would later utilize in his later battles.

Also, it's obscure enough to not be called out for having a DBZ tatoo

I've always viewed tattoos as a form of...remembering...things...over the course of ones' life. For example, a friend of mine got a tattoo of a small angel on the back of his left shoulder, signifying the birth of his first child/daughter. If he has another child, and has a son, he plans on getting a small devil on the back of his right shoulder. He's also got a couple of others for other events significant to him. I'd do the same (God knows I've got a few planned) but I'm rather overweight at the time, and I've seen what tattoos look like when you lose weight. They look terrible.

My left arm is a biomech/demon/I have no idea sleeve. I just let him draw what he wants really, but I'm really happy with the results.
Still need to get my inside bicep done on this one, been working on it for years, I just tend to get distracted midway through and start a new one.

At the moment, my right arm is really just a set of disconnected celtic designs, with a dragon thrown in for good measure. Eventually I'll sleeve it. I have no idea how, but usually I just give my guy a vague idea of what I want and he pulls through for me.

This is my left leg, it's a demon with some dragons flying around. The photos really aren't the best, they make it look really faded. It's honestly not.

Right, now this one is no where near finished, in fact, we've only just started it, but I fucking love it.
I got the Odin image (it's off the Tjängvide image stone [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tj%C3%A4ngvide_image_stone]) in the top right corner done ago.
A few months ago I decided I wanted a Mjölnir tattoo, so I said to my guy that I wanted one half biomech/demonic (like my left half of my body) and one celtic (like my right). I honestly could not be happier with what he came up with. Eventually it'll all be filled in, with a background etc, but I fucking love it. We did all that linework in one sitting, took nearly 6 hours. It was fucking painful but so worth it.
