I just play games that give you the option to kick them.

Although halos one is retarded. A bloke kills me because I have the sniper? Not given the option. I run over someone while running away from a tank in a mongoose? Kicked.

Accidental team-kill? It's fine, no problem.

Purposeful team-kill? Forget the objectives, and spend every second possible tracking that ************ down and killing or griefing him. If he's sniping, I'll throw smoke grenades at him so he doesn't get any kills, and when I run out I'll go and stab him. If he camps, I'll repeatedly expose his position until either the enemy team kills him or I get bored and do it myself. If he rushes, I'll follow him around and steal his kills, and kill him if he tries to fight back.

Once the match is over, I'll befriend him using my specially created alternate account, join a game of his, and spend the entire time murdering him, and I'll keep doing this until he deletes me. Then I'll block him on both accounts to reduce random hate-mail.

I only stop if they apologize. Otherwise, it's some of the best fun I ever have in a game.

I usually let it slide 3 times

if it continues, pick up a sniper rifle and quote FPS doug

"Boom, Headshot!"

until one of us gets bored and leaves

I say kill them once.
If they continue, start killing them in a really cheap way until they stop, or they rage quit.

Hello fellow Escapists. I was recently playing Battlefield bad company 2 and it seems that every other game I enter, my own team kill me over and over again for a whole load of reasons, from me helping them destroy a tank, to them getting ahead of me to get a helicopter. So, I put this to you, what do you do in a team killing situation? Do you kill them back? report them? rage quit? (which is completely understandable in this case)

Personally, I do all three... (unless it is an accident, then I tend to let it slide)

Also, what games have you found that team killing happens regularly? Do we have any team klllers on this site?
Kill me once, assume accident and forgive.

Kill me twice (same person), assume accident but punish.

Kill me thrice (same person), punish and report to admins.

If the server is full of idiots who are blatantly TK'ing for the lulz then I just leave and find a good server.

First time I assume it was an accident.

Second time within a short time span I take it as an accident but I'm watching them now.

Third time the demon is released and I make their life a living hell.

i use the oppurtunity to completely screw the server by having everyone on my team turn on one another and spend the whole round killing each other.

basically, it involves opening fire on everyone and instead of completing the objective they just open fire on their own team-mates.

I've encountered team killing on World of Tanks. It usually happens because someone was careless, accidentally rammed into a friendly tank and damaged it and got destroyed in retaliation. Its annoying because that's one less gun on your side and there is no respawning.

It can happen by accident though. Artillery can't control where their shot will go.

I ask myself: Did Jesus teamkill Judas after Judas did the same?

The answer is no.
I'm so using that the next time a teamkilling argument breaks out in a game I'm playing.

heres a concept, how about an anti achievement/trophy;
for instance, if playing your generic multiplayer shooter and someone kills X ammount of team mates within X ammount of time, they earn a anti-chievement witch removes X ammount of thier precious gamerscore?

also make it a renewable achievement (earnable more than once)
any further input on this?
Its a great idea for punishing team killers and other such trolls. In the current situations without such abilities to punish I'd just play and not care about it until the game is over because rage quitting to me is out of the question unless there is absolutely no other choice.

I can tell you first hand that reporting people for teamkilling does absolutely nothing. I know because I pretty much do nothing but team kill. I get about 10 messages a day from people who are all excited because they said they reported me and my account will be banned. 2 years later, I have not heard a word from x box live. Microsoft could care less about people team killing. They probably even think its funny. One piece of advice to you all so you don't flame me for this post... The thing that pisses team killer off the most though is beating them at their own game.

The only time I approve of team killing is in Left 4 Dead. For example, I was playing with a couple of friends and a random player when we got absolutely mobbed on. I was held down by a Hunter in the middle of a fire while my two friends were in the middle of the mob and couldn't get out. The fourth player was standing right next to me firing into the mob while I kept a constant stream of text in the team chat to make sure he could see me.

Suffice it to say that I died. Then he died. A lot. Before the zombies got to him.

In most games, I just leave. However in Bad Company, you have one extremely useful anti-teamkilling device. It's called the tracer dart. You just tracer the teammate who killed you and continue to tracer them. This works even better if you're an assault class with a medic friend. You can continue to revive them when they get shot (because they turn into a beautiful christmas tree, especially the snipers) and then you can continually stock up on tracers.

I believe this video can show how amazing this is.

One of the few times that I actually TK on purpose is when playing with my best friend. We have a window when playing Co-op of about 10-15 mins on campaign and at least twice as long on multiplayer before one of us tries to kill the other one. Especially in Halo games this leads to one person chasing the other around the map during the middle of a firefight, completely ignoring objectives and enemies. Once this happens, revenge will happen. I usually get killed first and then make a bee-line for him, which calms him down for a few more minutes before the cycle begins again.

OT: Kill them once or twice, report them, leave, find them later, shoot them in the head, leave. Repeat.
