One thing I've never understood is this seemingly new fad for young men to subject their most sensitive dangly parts to violent abuse for others' amusement.


There's nothing entertaining in it in the least.

Now, in classic Funniest Home Videos fashion, accidental crotch shots are hilarious. And wince-worthy.

But, seriously, have guys always kicked/smacked each other in the nads, or is this something that some combination of the Internet and Jackass made popular?

Cuz I don't remember anyone I ever went to school with doing this kind of stupid shit...

blame Johnny Knoxville, the jack ass crew and Bam Magera and his friends...this is where that crap comes from they made this stuff popular..

Sack tapping? What? I'm more perturbed with the fact that it happened in rural Minnesota and that the doctor who did the surgery says he does about 3 or 4 a year. The worst i did at school was a game where you whack people really really hard on the back of the head.

I think others might have played this game though because a month or so before i finished High School about 6 boys had time off school for testicular tortion.

I've never heard of this, but I live in the MN metro, not the country part. At my school the guys hit each other repeatedly in the rib cage after they sit down until they say 'nut'.

It's ridiculous, but hilarious since I'm usually the one wathching. Up here people still don't want to hit girls, so I'm exempt from all of this.

It makes the guy's really paranoid. But they usually don't punch each other in the balls.
