Its on the right track no doubt in my opinion, it just needs more practice and more experience, but I think its listenable nonetheless. Keep it up though.

They are not bad...

though all of the clips are very very similar and the vocals don't really blend into the music, they just sit on top oozing like a lemon. Other than that it is to short for me to tell what to think.

Thanks!
So long as you can get past some of the apparent elitism in the forums it is better than 99% of the forums around.

I liked the intro and Broken the tide, listening through the rest. I'd call them rather good.

Also, although there is no money involved you are advertising a band, I'm not going to call you up on it or anything, because it's a gesture to your brother, but, something like this isn't ideal for a first post, and would probably be better PMing a Moderator to see if they thinks it's acceptable. Might take a extra day or so, but, then you can come back and say "HA, I got permission". Hope you stick around.

I quite like the instrumentals, although it can be a bit more varied, a little less dull. I especially like the drumming though. The vocals put me off though, his voice doesn't fit in at all, it makes the singer sound bored. I've heard a lot worse, that's for sure.
