1.
I've been playing since I was about three, and started on the Mega Drive. Good times. Basically stuck with Sony all the way through, along with Gameboy/Advance. I dabbled within the current generation but have settled with the PS3. I'm a pretty big fan of JRPG, but can't handle the freedom of WRPG's. I'm a horrible strategist, and have completely lost any skill with shooters, but I am much too skilled at (the now dying) Guitar Hero/ Rock Band.

2.
I've had one relationship when I was 18 that lasted 4 days. And now, according o my female friends, I'm too nice to be interesting to most women, and am somewhat crippled by self doubt and inner discussion. Plus, I don't like night clubs, so I am a bit out of luck for my age (19).

3.
I have become a closet fan of anime. Love watching/reading, but keep it kinda bottled up around people who don't share the interest. I like playing guitar and listening to music, and enjoy cop shows that are a little irregular e.g. Castle, Lie to Me. Also generally hanging out with friends talking etc.

4.
I don't really like nerdy culture, though with most things I dislike I don't have a problem with other people liking it. I really don't like politics, due to the lies that get told endlessly, which effectively involves sacrificing personal beliefs and integrity in order to get re-elected.

I have been gaming for 22 years (I'm almost 30). My Mum first got me a second hand three year old Amstrad 464. I was hooked! With out question the best game for it was Harriar Attack! I then got a Game Gear which, TBH, was not that great. I next got a PS1 which was great, some of the highlights been Ridge Racer 4, GT1 and MGS1. Durning this time I briefly had a N64, mainly for GoldenEye, not sure what happend to it, TBH. After that I had a PS2 which I did not think was that great. In 2000 I bought my first pc; 5 new rigs later I have never looked back. The quailty of games on the pc is far better to that of console. Ture the lines are blurring, but the pc still rules. I like playing everything, from RTS to FPS, from Flight Sims (WW2) to indie games.

Relationship history?

I have only gone out with 2 girls. One was many years ago and I would class it as "relationship" in the weakest sense. I was never really intrested in relationships, sex, oh hells yeah! But, talking to them, ect, nah. I had many a one night stand, some recuring "one night" stands and even a fuck buddy. I really thought I would never find anyone I gave a shit about untill I met my current g/f 3 and half years ago. She is yummy!

Non game things you are into?

Education! I'm doing a M.A. in Classsics, so that takes up alot of my time. I do alot of walking, play a bit of football now and again. I read alot, I listen to alot of podcasts, I go the movies. I drink a fair but, but, hey, I'm Irish. I enjoy music. The usual. Oh! I keep tropical fish.

Non game things you are not into?

Errrrmmmm..... don't watch alot of telly, there is just so much shit on it. If I like I a show, I get it off the next and watch it on my pc. I'm not big on sport, with F1 the only type I really follow.

2. Single now but I've had a few girlfriends. Mostly not that serious but my last girlfriend was.

4. Not a big fan of any sports apart from Football/Soccer. Also don't really like watching movies that much.

What kind of gamer are you?
I started on PC games - first ever game was Word Rescue - and stayed that way till I was about 15, when I started playing Xbox games at a friend's place. I wasn't allowed an Xbox of my own, but I managed to convince my folks to let me buy one about 2007. That year, a friend gave me his old, broken Xbox 360, saying that "if I could fix it, I could have it".

I sent it back for repairs on warranty. XD

Since then I've been a 360 gamer with the odd Xbox game thrown in. I love PC gaming, but only just recently did I get a half-decent computer, and I'm moving towards that again.

Relationship history?
I'm straight, and have been in one relationship that lasted about four months. Neither of us were emotionally mature enough to handle it, and our over-eagerness kind of pullled us apart as well. I'm single now, not in a hurry to get into a relationship, although once my job situation settles down I'd love to find a girl.

My greatest desire is to wake up one morning, look over at my beautiful wife lying there beside me, realise my finacial, social and relationship situations are all secure, know that I own my own house, and be grateful for all that I have.

Non-game things you are into?
I like music - techno (especially hard trance), hard rock, and soundtrack are my favourite genres, although I like a little bit of everything. My favourite band is Poets Of The Fall, an alt rock band from Finland. I also like some anime series, and am fascinated by observing science at work in everyday life.

Non-game things you are not into?
I dislike sports - both playing and watching - celebrity gossip, car talk, wine. I don't watch many movies, and I don't ever watch television, with the exception of a few series. (Lie To Me, Farscape, and Firefly.)

-what kind of gamer are you?
Other than World of Warcraft, which I'm obsessed with, I mainly play adventure-y action-y games with some rpg elements. Games like Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Morrowind, etc. are my favorite to play. I can't stand plain shooters like CoD or Halo, but I also hate turn-based RPGs. Oddly enough, though, given my genre preference in games, the only two games that I took first place in in my college's gaming tournament were a fighting game and a racing game, neither of which I'd played before. o_O

My first system was a Sega Genesis, which I still have and play occasionally.

-relationship history
I'm an anti-clingy, laid back type of girl, myself. I just want to find someone independent, not insanely clingy, that I can feel comfortable around. This has yet to happen. Most of my ex-girlfriends have been insane. One actually turned out to be LITERALLY insane. Apparently her doll convinced her to do things, and one night after the doll won the argument, she left in the middle of the night to look at churches as the doll wanted, but then the trees started to make fun of her so she came back to our room crying. I SWEAR I'M NOT MAKING THIS UP. I could never make up anything that weird. I was frightened. She also threatened to kill me in my sleep once.

I've taken a break from dating since then. D:

-non game things you are into
I'm obsessed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Actually, just round that out to almost everything that Joss Whedon has ever made, especially Buffy. Spike and Faith are my favorite characters. I'm also a giant Tolkien nerd. Three of my pets are named after the Valar. I also love Metalocalypse. Ofdensen is my favorite. Oh! I almost forgot! Deadpool. Deadpool is my favorite comics character EVER. Just don't mention that Wolverine: Origins movie to me or I'll start having horrible flashbacks like a Nam vet.

-non game things you are not into
Sports, cars, reality television, hipsters, and being awake before noon. None of those things are of the good.

-what kind of gamer are you?
Casual *Gets a controller to the face* I like having FUN with games instead of making it a giant dick-waving contest. Don't get me wrong, I like being competitive and playing against others, but I'm into gaming for the fun of it first and foremost. I die about 90% of the time in play and I laugh every time because somehow I manage to get my character to kick the bucket in the most ridiculous ways.

I still play games like Bioshock (my current favorite :D), HALO, and difficult FPS, but the games I spend the most time on are ones like Katamari Damancy and Little Big Planet. I do admit that I hate JRPGS and make very few exceptions.

-relationship history
Two boyfriends in the past 4 years. Both lasted about 6 months. One I dumped because I was simply bored and I knew we weren't going anywhere, the other dumped me because I wasn't smart enough to handle him. I prefer open relationships, but I don't cheat in a closed one. I believe in trusting your loved ones...well, at least trying to.

-non game things you are into
Table top RPG, macho men, cosplay and going to conventions, biology, tattoos (I've got 4 myself), history, astronomy, fanfiction, writing, movies, making friends, farting around, and doing stupid things in general. I like to have fun :3

-non game things you are not into
Elitist gamers (seriously, when did you have to be GOOD at something in order to like it? Friggin pricks), trolls, shota/lolicon (child porn), chat-speak, sushi, Disneyesque romance, fundamentalism of any kind.

I started playing on my family's older consoles like my dad's Atari 2600 and my cousin's SNES. I got my Playstation when I was 5 and have stayed with Sony ever since. I have a GameBoy Advanced SP, but I skipped out on the DS in favor of the PSP. I'm currently in love with Persona 3 and 4 (I just got them for Christmas).Eagerly awaiting Deus Ex, Skyrim, Uncharted 3, and many others.

I remember standing up on a bar stool playing Pac-Man as a toddler and I've been a gamer ever since. I think of myself primarily as a console gamer due to not having a PC at home for most of my childhood, although I played a variety of old RPGs as a child on my friend's PC. I generally like RPGs and fighting games, although I'll have a go at anything that looks cool, particularly if it's bright and has a fun graphical style, like say, Borderlands.

-relationship history
I fell in with a bad crowd of older people during my last years of high school, which led to a number of casual relationships with bad friends that I wouldn't have recommended as an experience. My first serious relationship turned extremely sour, as my ex was violent and a controlling bastard. Fortunately, I had a close friend who helped me through it and started rebuilding my life- I'm now happily married to this friend.

-non game things you are into
I like fashion to a certain extent, but based primarily on make-up, I enjoy cooking, languages, singing and martial arts.

-non game things you are not into
I don't care for clubbing, or any activity that might involve shitty dancing, I loathe shopping and I find watching TV annoying due to the adverts and repeats (I'd rather watch it on DVD).

I started gaming at a young age with the Super Nintendo. I mostly enjoyed puzzle and platform style gameplay with some combat elements. (not a big fan of turn-based though).

Consoles: First Person Shooters and Role Playing Games, mainly. Although I'm also getting through some Third Person Shooters.
PC: Real Time Strategy (Red Alert, Age of Empires) or Turn Based Strategy (Heroes of Might and Magic). I also love me some old school FPSes, like Duke Nukem 3D and the original Quake and Doom.
Handhelds: RPGs like Pokémon, puzzle games like Tetris, a few driving games like Crazy Taxi. I'm also playing the Final Fantasy games released on the PSP and loving them.

- relationship history
I've had a couple of guys ask me on a date, but we've ended up just being friends and that's cool with me. I'm voluntarily single, I guess. =] I'd rather have a big bunch of friends around me than a single partner.

-non game things you are into
I read a lot of books (crime fiction, science fiction and some comedy authors like Robert Rankin, Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett) and watch a lot of science fiction, crime drama and British and American comedy on the tellyvision and YouTube. An ideal evening for me is lazing in front of MST3K on YouTube whilst chatting on MSN and Skype. :] I also collect film OSTs and Transformers. I also recently finished painting first ever custom - a G1 Galvatron in his show colours.

- non game things you are not into
Anything girly. I despise rom-coms, romantic films, chick literature, pink things, Justin Bieber (in fact most manufactured boy-bands) and soap operas. About the most girly thing I do is put on eyeliner and listen to the Glee songs (I hate the show but the damn songs get stuck in your head, don't they?).

I mainly like FPs' but i'm not one of those who has to be the literal best, elite person. I also enjoy a few RTS', Civ style games and a couple of innovative Indie games that give a bit of variety to my gaming palette.

I've been gaming since i can remember, i think my first console was the Mega Drive, from memory i've also had the Game Gear, PSX, Gameboy, GBA SP, PS2, PSP, PS3 and of course my trusty PC.

-relationship history

I've been in a number of relationships, some serious, some less so. All of them ended on good terms, except one who was very horrible during the relationship and after the breakup. My longest relationship has been roughly 2-3 months, i would personally love to have something long term; i'd actually not mind meeting my potential future wife right now (although i think i already have, but she isn't available atm ¬_¬).

-non game things you are into

I would class my main hobby to be airsofting, it's a really cool thing and provides a realistic breakaway from all the FPS' i play. I play a bit of golf in the summer but not competitively, i just enjoy hanging around with friends, whether that's at a coffee shop, cinema, someone's house or at church. Oh yeah, i'm a Christian, should probably say that too! I also like building PC's, i am also learning to code in C++ and Java as it is my ambition to become a games developer, i'm starting a university course in September.

-non game things you are not into

Reality TV shows (as they are usually as far from reality as you can get), celebrity gossip, going out on the town, competitive sports (watching and playing), i don't smoke and never have, i don't do any drugs, i drink occasionally but it's very rare and in moderation.

Erh, well, I play a ton of different games, but I'm mostly fond of RPGs and games with non chaotic combat. I'm very much more in it for story and experience than actual shooty shooty blasty blasty stuff, although it is fun in most games that I play. For example I can't stand the fucking combat system in ME1, but I love the one in, say, Fallout 3.

-Relationship history

I'm in a distance relationship at the moment with a lovely guy. -Shrug-

-Non-game things you are into

I'm an artist, I like doing creative things in general(writing, I just bought an ocarina), movies and that kind of stuff. Oh, I'm a big roleplayer too. I love discussion and thinking about stuff long and hard as well. I want to be great at whatever I like doing, like the creative stuff(I need to be better at grammar/spelling too >_>).

-Non-game things you are not into

Sports. I fucking hate sports(except boxing, that's fun :D). I have no interest in the "wild" teenagy stuff like drinking, smoking, partying and lots of sex and all that, I think it's just completely pointless. Also I can't stand most "super girly" stuff either, not that I can think of anything right off the bat.

... That's about it.

1. I've been playing games for as long as I could hold a controller. I started out on the Sega Genesis with Sonic 1 & 2.

Now I've become a bit of a PC gamer but still buy most of my games on the PS3. I play almost every genre except sports games (and I'm a little behind on RTSs).

2. I had one girlfriend (and I barely consider her that) and she broke up with me over 3 years ago. I've enjoyed and hated being single since.

3. I'm an avid writer (currently writing my on novel). I've also done some song writing here and there.

4. Lots of things. I have a very narrow taste in terms of my interests. The first thing that comes to mind is sports though.

-what kind of gamer are you?

I'd say I was more than just a casual gamer - I've been into video games for a long time (3 years addicted to WoW was pretty bad), but I've also had times playing traditional RPGs, cards and so forth from the age of about 2, but more seriously since the age of 13.

-relationship history

Aside from the school / university romances, I've had one serious and (mostly) stable relationship. I'd like to settle down and raise a family, but in this financial climate, I'm not sure I want to grind myself into poverty with my girlfriend. Is she the one? You'd think after 4 years that I knew for sure, but I'm just not sure.

-non game things you are into

I'm a keen cricketer, having just been appointed the vice captain of our Sunday squad. We won last season's division 3 title and we're going to try and hold our own this year as well. I'm into most sports, such as motor racing, rugby, football, darts, snooker, ice Hockey and baseball. I also read quite a bit and have a penchant for creative writing

-non game things you are not into

Shopping - I run to keep fit, why should I trapse around a shopping mall, wasting my money on things I don't really need, then carry them for a few miles, when I can get them online?

My family - I know it sounds harsh, but since my brother moved out about 18 months ago, I've seen more of him than ever. That and the baby-factory of a woman he calls his other half. She's at least 75% of their cumulative masses! The kids are brilliant, but if they would turn up at mum and dad's, before leaving the kids there, that would be so much better.

Well, I never had many consoles as a kid (Must have been about.. 10-11 when I got my first console; PS1, but even then I didnt have many games for it. Didn't get a GBC till I was 13 x.x), but since I've a few more consoles not I've started playing some of the ..'popular' games like Halo, LoZ, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy etc... kinda making up for not playing them as a kid I suppose, lol.
In general I mainly like RPG games and 1st person shooters. Not a fan of racing games.

Mostly PC gamer/Steam gamer. Have most of valves games, love tf2 and l4d. I like FPS's (but not cod) and RPG's. I like games that are fun, and that have good stories. Liked Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts (used to own a psx, ps2). Currently own a Wii and my computer, but no other consoles. Will pretty much play anything as long as it's fun. Gaming is a distraction from thinking about emo stuff really. And a break from homework.

Being only 16 there isn't much to say here, had 2 girlfriends before but on was for like 12 days, last month and was just boring/terrible, the other being when i was 12 and i would hardly classify it a relationship.

Listening to screamo/punk rock, watching movies and some tv shows, Math, Reading. I'm basically a giant nerd.

-non game things you are not into
Pop music, it makes me angry. Facebook. I despise social networking and i never use my own facebook. If I wanted to socialise I'd go outside or something. Waking up in the morning especially before school at like 7:00 after going to bed at like 12 or later... I do this everynight. :D
