I have been working with disabled people/kids for nearyl three years. No, i don´t mean WoW :(
In fact, i never played that game.
I read a lot of books, mostly horror, Palahniuk, Ellis, stuff like that.
I started to write a story myself, but i did not finish it. 80 pages.
I am Germanese.

Well, that should be enough for now.
Palahniuk doesnt write horror. Invisible mosters, Choke, fight club none of these were horrors and none of his other are either. Have you even read one of his books?
Perhaps by saying Palahniuk, he actually meant Jack Palance.. whose real name was Volodymyr Palahniuk (in case you didn't know) and was a fan of the horror/thriller movie "Man in the attic", which is about Jack the Ripper.

Oh wait.. books. well fuck. sorry, I tried.

Actually, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haunted_%28novel%29

I haven't read any of his books. I just felt like seeing if you were right or not. I'm bored while I install this game, so what the hell.

Although after reading the summary of this, it sounds pretty interesting.

I'm a 16-year old bastard. I'm a bit more smarter than the people surrounding me...too bad they're all idiots, so I guess I'm average. I do 3D as a hobby and hope to work in the game/movie industry. I once worked in a 3d studio for a month. I consider porn to be boring, as if you seen one, you seen 'em all (my theory based on some clips my collegues sent me). I also have issues with easy exercises in english (i.e. putting modal verbs in the correct forms in sentences), but I do the heavy ones really easy, as english is not my native language. And I never had a girlfriend...yet.

I tend to hesitate a lot when it comes to making serious decisions, and as such, I often lose the chance to act altogether. Needless to say, I've decided to take Sylocat's motto ("Good things don't come to those who wait. They come to those who get off their asses, find them, and take them") to heart.

I go for a walk about every day. I started doing this about 2 years ago. And to quote a friend, I "walk like a demon possessed." I tend to get annoyed when I'm in the middle of a large crowd of people that walk slow. About half a year ago, I got into the habit of jogging. I pretty much have a need to get outside. If I go for a whole day without leaving my house I feel like shit.

As far as sedentary hobbies go, I spend most of my time on surfin' "teh intrawebs" and playing games. I hardly ever watch TV nowadays. Hell, if it weren't for the Weather Channel, I'd only have the TV on to play games.

I like acting, particularly voice acting. I've been thinking about getting a career in voice acting.

To darth mobius:

I agree with you on the UR instead of you're or your issue. What's the point of the collective goverments of the world sinking shitloads of other-people's hard-earned cash on educating the masses if the masses commit crimes against grammar? I despair of society attimes.

And if you can identify this quote, I will thank you:

'Work is the curse of the drinking classes'

I work with people who either don't play videogames or the games they play are limited with WoW. So I'm considered wierd in that either most of my offtime goes to video games or that I prefer singleplayer to muti-player,mostly because Muti-player just doesn't hold my interest long, while most single player games can keep my interest for at least 10 hours or so per playthrough.

That I resent the idea of having to pay to play a game beyond the initial purchase, as many MMORPG's do.

I'm a Yorkshireman (that's in England) and as a result am prone to bouts of Yorkshire speak. I hate it when people get basic grammar wrong and I always write my words and sentences out fully, be it on forums, instant messaging or texting.
I'm in an explorer scout group that's currently going through some hard times, I play the tenor horn and French horn and I sped a lot of times playing games.
I find that finding out about other people is much more interesting than talking about myself and I tend to not have the courage to say the right thing at the right time.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of magnitude of Yorkshire speak are we talking?

I have the largest collection of Transformers toys in Scotland. Over 900. Also, I have had Hodgkin's Lymphoma (cancer of the lymph glands) twice. Neither occasion was much fun but it's in the past now and I've still got my hair and (hopefully) my fertility. I enjoy visiting foreign lands even though I don't get to do it very often and, as Billy Connolly once said, I've slept on so many floors I can tell what part of the world I'm in from the taste.

Anyway, I am a Dane too, although I tend to speak more English than Danish.
My name is Daniel, I am an 8th grade student, probably one of the more polite of them, and I do not see the "cool" in rap, I'm more to techno and such (also classic)

Hey,
I'm not a lumberjack, or a Furtrader,
and I don't live in an igloo,
or eat blubber
or own a dogsled.
And I don't know Jimmy, Sally or Suzy from Canada,
although I'm certain they're really, really nice.

I have a prime minister... not a president,
I speak English and French, not American
and I pronounce it About, not A-boot.

I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack,
I believe in peacekeeping, not policing,
diversity not assimilation,
and that the beaver is a truly proud and noble animal.

A toque is a hat,
a chesterfield is a couch,
and it IS pronounced Zed,
not Zee... ZED!!
Canada is the 2nd largest land mass,
the 1st nation of hockey,
and the best part of North America.

My name is Joe...
and...I......AM......CANADIAN!

Thank you.

Amen to that, eh!

My name is Scott, and I am Canadian. I am fully aware of the irony of a Canadian man named Scott with the web name IrishDelinquent. I am very proud of my lineage, having family from every part of the British Isles (I often like to refer to myself as the "British Isles Bastard Child").

I'm in college to try and become a game developer. I am a fairly good animator and a decent modeller. I have made a few good maps using the Unreal Engine, and I'm also learning some flash. Hopefully in the future you'll be writing good reviews about one of my games, and I'll get to see it torn to pieces on Zero Punctuation.

Since this thread seems to be about our nastier habits, I'll admit to liking porn. I'm also a drinker, who dominates in chugging contests. So in other words pretty normal.

I like most games, primarily RTS. When I'm not on the PC or Xbox, I'll be at my hobby centre playing warhammer 40k. My Tyranids hunger for biomass, and my Raven Guard long for battle.

I've earned my black belt in Kenpo Karate, and am an amateur wrestler. I love mixed martial arts, and I'm fairly good with submission holds. I'd like to get a hug, but you may want to hold off. Instinct may kick in, and a friendly hug turns into an armbar, guillotine choke, or bearhug pretty easily ;)

Oh and just for the record I think porn is over rated. It's all so horribly acted and directed that it's really just a waste of time. I mean seriously, come on now.
Yep, that's why I started writing. If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself.
