The amount of outrage and death threats on that page is staggering.

That's the point really: 'Dead baby humor' is more about getting a reaction out of someone who is offended by that sort of joke than it is about the humor in the joke itself.

Most dead baby jokes are rather lame, and unremarkable except for the subject matter.
In practice, it's more trolling than actual "dark humor".

Well then. I assume you're already doing it, because thinking about such shit 24/7 would drive any sentient creature to insanity in a matter of days.
Just do more of it.

I actually think the insane people are the ones that are capable of being ignorant of all the horrible bleak shit in this world... Hence the name, SaneAmongInsane.

In all my travels in my short life thus far, the only thing I find helps is copious amounts of booze and the occasional visits from my cousin mary (ESCAPIST TOS). It doesn't allow me to be ignorant of it all, but it does allow me a little relief from constantly carrying around the giant bag of darkness.
